Way to go, Peace. That Black Shield looks awesome. I am envious.
I'm in the middle of a long, drawn-out game which looks like it's going to come down to a military victory. All the other "goods" either joined me or perished, and now it's just me and the Drengin fighting it out with Avatars and Overlords. I'm very slowly grinding him down, but I fear that the game will be so long as to blow any good score. How much does time matter in the score?

well, if you end the game before 2190 it halves your score, if you wait too long you get penalized for having a massive populace

To clarify, alliance and military victories have always been allowed. Former prohibitions were on culture and tech victories only.

The actual law of our empire is:
"All new overlords may play any game style they wish.
Senators, however are restricted to a maximum of 2 research and 2 cultural victories per month."
The reference to "two...wins a game" was an error.

As if I'd do that to an honourary Guardian.  That's why I posted it here and not on the newsflash thread.
To be fair, it wasn't clear - it could have been month, week, or even per day the way some people crank out the games. Thanks for clearing up the confusion Mr. Beer.
For what it's worth, I think your newsflashes are a great idea, and very well presented each time. I hope that the new law changes encourage more people to join the Diplomats and get you moving up the scale - we need a bit of a challenge over in the Claw.
