it's quite possible they picked those two not for there actually innocence/guild but because both are famous respected members of the community |

I really hope this is not true! That would be more disturbing than actual cheating!
| |
|
indeed it would, and if that is what's being done i don't disagree it shouldn't be done, i do however disagree at the timing of it, if a tactic like that is to be used, it should only be in a time when they are constantly catching cheaters, so that they need to get the message across, as far as i know, this is NOT a good time.

Some people are messing with games they've submitted already and resubmitting them as new games.
Anyone who's submitting multiple large games per day is going to be scrutinized. |
|
Therefore we must accept that this was not poor timing, more to do with the changes with submissions due to AP. The submissions for 1.50 are looked at in more depth than previously. This new way of reading the data would have highlighted any inconsistencies in anyones games. If this happened Brad and Stardock would have acted on the information.

Isn't Loth still using 1.13 though?

i don't think you have to worry kazz, i think the redflag that goes up means that they WILL check it so if your innocent then there won't, shouldn't be a problem.
