btw how close we getting to the final release of the GCWriter? our beta testing efforts don't seem to be paying out much

I think you, DW and I will have to be the testing team (although Ichot Tolot has also been good on feedback! Thanks Ichot!)

Can you give it a whirl yourself and see how it works for you? DW just reported a bug with event creation.

Realistically, with so little testing, I don't think the beta version will be ready for another week or two I think it will miss our anniversary

then again you could also say since the beta testers are finding nothing perhaps there's nothing to find...

Notice to reporters! - Empire news has now been moved to its new location. Link via entrance or embassy. Log in is still the same

Oh and T3C there appears to be a few bugs still to iron out.

Sloth, will carry on testing tomorrow, kinda busy with the projects finishing touches too

Morning/Evening all. I've finally finished my exams so can go back to playing a little Galciv now.

As for rock-climbing, how's the setup at the indoor place you're going to? The only place in the town where I live has about 4 surfaces, with most of the handholds the easiest ones. I have to travel a few hundred k's to the mountains to find somewhere decent.

the best indoor rockcliming i've been too is a 10 foot motorized one at a skating rink

Well, my gym has 3 locations. Radwall-designed. The one I mostly go to has routes from 5.4 through 5.12c. One location has 30' walls and the other two have 40' walls. They also have a bouldering area with problems from V0- to V9 on 15' walls, bouldering cave, etc. They have sport lead routes and inertial autobelay systems. The route-setters change everything every 60-90 days. You can place requests for new routes. For example, I just asked them to put up a somewhat strenous layback in a nice overhung corner (since I am a masochist ) and they say that they will put something up for me within 2 weeks. 15% slab, 25% vertical, 60% overhang and roofs. Fun stuff.

Lucky. The one near me doesn't even bother pretending to cater for anyone over the age of about 6. It's the main reason I stopped rock-climbing - nowhere nearby to do it.

I climb a 24' ladder to clean out the gutters, does that count?

Morning Diplomats.

I love climbing but I'm afraid of heights. You think over the years I've been climbing the fear would have gone away

Apparently our thread is demented (cough T3C ) but come join in anyway. http://www.galciv.com/forum.asp?BID=GE&ID=177547#177684 Link . One warning though any sheep are (Lord) Evil Steves. Plus read the stardock fanclub (empire forum) and the GC playhouse (main forum), the CariElf fanclub(main forum).

Perhaps the sheep can be found in the graveyard, I hear the Undead are low on snacks.

Yuk! Ruined a good sheep that.

Of course being undead and all, I don't have much desire for pickled anything... except as a side disk.

Pickled is just a bit redundant and not necessary, I guess it would be more of a decorative issue, eh?

Morning Diplomats!

The only thing pickled in the graveyard is us and our friends after a friday or saturday night party!

And you know what they say... You are what you eat... In this case, I'll have to say it's much easier when the Party Favours are, shall we say intoxicated.

LUNCH!
