Sorry I haven't been around. By next week I will be set in college and going to class, so things should be back to normal. I've been busier just cleaning the place up as to packing things, I've got far less than I thought I would have.
On a sadder note, I think my computer is dying as well. I've been setting up an old desktop to work as a backup, because my laptop seems to have been shutting itself down or locking itself up whenever you move it or put it or on any surface that does not leave the main fan exposed. I think I've got a cable wrong somewhere in the LCD, which explains the moving problem, and the heat sink does not seem to be working quite right. It costs too much to fix it to bother, at least $400. So I'll just try to get a new one, probably a desktop, after the holidays. The old desktop, it has a Pentium 3 800 MhZ. Pretty sad, and it seems the power supply is too old and weak to handle a 9200 64 MB Radeon chip. Also, it doesn't have a AGP port anyway, so it really isn't worth it. So my gaming may be quite limited for a few months, depending on what I can con my laptop into doing. But regardless I can still talk to you guys.
As for the forums, it does seem quite dead. I imagine it is mostly because the end of summer is here, and this game has pretty much reached its end. The forums are a bare place it seems, even ours. I can only hope it will renew itself for GC2. I will be around whenever I can though, I promise that.
I'll check in when I can guys, just letting you know I'm alive.

| Maybe I should move on and use Newfy as an example and quit playing in an empire or maybe since Guardians still seem to have some activity join the Guardians |

Tech, come and join with me and we will keep an active empire going. I intend to stay with GC for now.
The sad thing is when looking at  Link (the empire raw scores) you can see that the number of players for each empire have been steadily dropping each month.
The CSF has 3 people that play infrequently 1 maybe 2 games per month. Out of 126 members that is not very active.
The only reason I left was I wanted to be part of an active empire. The problem is I do not feel I fit into other empires for various reasons.
Sure GC is old now but with the fresh version of AP just hitting the stores there should be a mild influx of new gamers coming.

You would both be welcome in the Guardians. But I would be just as happy to have another active empire around.

Done. But I am not sure if my view about the subject are shared with lots of people since I don't particulary feel that it needs to be fixed (it just needs regularly a global recalc)

I don't know. Looks like summer break is an horrible thing for online communities since the whole empire forum seems to be asleep.

well you know what's happened to me, i was hoping to get back to it sooner but finding a computer repair shop that's willing to do the soldering is tough, one guy straight out told me many don't like taking those riskier jobs where they may have to pay you if they cause more damamge
