must break the chain of communication via remoticon

I thought it was fun to see how long we could avoid speaking in the Diplomat's forum.

I have made some posts on the galactic forum about metaverse. I wonder what the reactions will be

If we all had ultra-cool powers like DW, we could do that here.

I have made some posts on the galactic forum about metaverse

Excellent posts, Peace.

Excellent work on the Metaverse description, Peace.

I think it shows new players they can make a move on the metaverse anytime. All it requires is steady 3 60000 point games submited every day.

Yes. It was the intent of the post.

This is for being number one. Not for reaching top 25.

Of course that assumes that Technician quits playing.

I think the newbies have the following experience:

(1) Check to see who is 1st in the Metaverse
(2) Note the 2.7+ mil points (gasp)
(3) Click on Techs name to pull up profile and log.
(4) Check the Einstein photo staring back and scroll through the 458 (and counting) games. (gasp gasp)
(5) Say to themselves, maybe MOO3 wasn't so bad afterall.

I can say this as I was a newbie in March, 2004, and Jaws was number 1 with over a million points.

Hmmm...I click on Tech's name and gasp, now!

As a newbie, I set a modest goal (top 100).

After reaching top 100, I set my sights on the next name(s)on the list. With each name passed, I felt a sense of accomplishment. Enjoying the small victories is key.

Apparently twice

I believe that the Metaverse (with inactives) presents a good reward system for new players. I didn't have any goals for my ranking as I believe that in a 1 player game you only compete against yourself (even with the meta). I did enjoy rising through the ranks (albeit slowly) but that is a relative measure dependent on what the other players are doing.

I like the "Active" designations. I won't use it as I don't want to mess with my name/submissions and my slow game pace don't warrant an "Active" title.

Trying to see if I could modify a javascript with a radio checklist to a drop down.

What I have now is

Time:"Box which displays Time" "Update Button"
Radio Box Toronto
Radio Box Calgary
etc...

The cities I want to put in a dropdown box the problem
is I have not been able to pass a time zone offset.
