When I was young (of highschool age), this sort of thing was very popular. Are RPGs as popular these days as they were before?

heh popular...among our people slothrop, it's HUGE, plus it's spawned it's own game type rpg, both on consol and computer, i'm surprised that you've heard of Gal Civ but not say...Baldur's Gate?

Of course I know BG. I've even played it. I didn't mean computer RPGs. I meant live, one-on-one AD&D, etc. games.

Na, actually, admirable to see someone confident enough in oneself to choose a gutsy name like Eva.

I had to go and get breakfast. You know, a womans work is never finished and all that.

To answer a previous question.
I used to play online roll playing games like Star Trek. Where you take a character and write in the first person, interacting with the other characters.
Great fun, but I do not have the time for that now.
You have to write a fair bit every day, otherwise everyone gets upset waiting for you.

control, I must learn control.....

Come on over. I can teach you control. It would be fun....well for me anyway.
