plus it's spawned it's own game type rpg, both on consol and computer, i'm surprised that you've heard of Gal Civ but not say...Baldur's Gate?

Of course I know BG. I've even played it. I didn't mean computer RPGs. I meant live, one-on-one AD&D, etc. games.

To answer a previous question.
I used to play online roll playing games like Star Trek. Where you take a character and write in the first person, interacting with the other characters.
Great fun, but I do not have the time for that now.
You have to write a fair bit every day, otherwise everyone gets upset waiting for you.
