China will have the tallest building by a long way. completed for their Olympics.
Together with very high speed trains and all sorts of other prestige gimmicks....if they are not at war with Taiwan by then.

Yeah, I saw a documentary on the Learning Channel about tall buildings and what the future holds. There seems to be some sort of envy over who has the tallest building...I love the link I posted a little while back that said the "Sears Tower was still the tallest occupied building." Oh, and I guess the Eiffel Tower is the tallest unoccupied, all-steel, tourist attracting, four-legged, city-icon in the world.

Ummm...and some buildings put extra long antennas on the top of their building just so they could say they beat another building by 2 feet.

The score ended 5:3 i herebye proclaim it the day of good for all to rejoice in...there just wasn't powerful enough evil in the universe to defeat the sheer numbers of the good, no surprise since half the good side is made up of feared generals like theoden, greldon and amulek
