12 hours and no Diplomat on sight.

Out of sight, but not out. We're just trying to lull people into a false sense of diplomacy.

I forgot to check today, I have been playing MOO3 lately, Galciv scores are really stinking right now, every game I submit only scores me 5 or 6k. And usually takes me 2 to 3 hours to finish a game (my computer is very slow)

my computer is gaming quality but yet it still takes me about that much time, unless i turn on autosave so don't trip on it

Is it really? A few months ago, a colleague showed me the system he'd pulled together with his son for gaming. Overclocked. Liquid cooled. Darn impressive. Back in the mists of time, I'd programmed on a Cray that was less powerful!

WHOA! holy crap! that's the same as those new in-home super computers, mine's only a 2.9, and my friend has a 3.1, any chance you know the ram?

3.8GHz

With a real subzero refrigerator, he might have gotten it up to 4.5GHz, but that is pretty extreme.

Don't remember how much ram it had, but I know it was the fastest he could get his hands on.

Well, how about a company furnished Pentium 4M 1.8GHz laptop w/ 512MB memory and a tiny HD that has been out of space for the last year?

#1670  by Citizen Slothrop Master of V-2s - 3/31/2004 4:52:09 PM

Nope. I'm desktopless. I play most of my 60min maso's laying on the sofa with the laptop resting on my chest. If I had a desktop, it would be a bit hard to breath!

#1671  by Veteran Disciple777 - 3/31/2004 4:56:45 PM

Kind of heavy will be to have your desktop in your chest, my monitor is 21 inches, so it is pretty heavy
