Actually, it did. Must have been that last submission. Thanks for noticing GH. You're the first.

#2099 by Citizen A Better Tomorrow - 4/12/2004 9:40:56 PM Oh, man. I go and watch Matrix: Revolutions and I miss all of the fun. Wasn't even worth watching anyway. The first one is the only good one out of the bunch. To respond to a bunch of crap:Hey ABT... Didn't you and your girl hit the prom recently?? Some about a tux and being conned/forced/baboozelled in to going or some such nonsence? How'd that go anyway? Not too bad. The prom proper wasn't too great, too much rap, but we had fun: went bowling afterwards, still in prom clothes. Amazingly fun. Got home at 4:00 AM. And almost everything went to hell before we even got started. But all in all a good two days. Hey Guys/Gals we are nearly at the 3Mil mark Only 150k left to go.....[Cartman voice]Sweeeeettttt[/Cartman voice] Last question for the day. When an AI offers to trade techs with you, and it is not something you want, and you reject the offer, does that hurt your relation with them?Good question Kaz. I do it all the time, and it doesn't seem like they start to hate me because of it. But it might be a factor. I wouldn't do any stupid trades regardless. I never refuse a good trade though. bribes to 20bc X 10,000 turns.I do 20 for 100 turns, and it sometimes does the trick. I will try the 10K turns next game. On Java Scout's Database there is a listing for prestige, what is prestige exactly?Ditto on XgE.And that is that for a killer post.

wow you seem to be in a bit of a responsive mood today eh?

I am now painful. Make note all Torians.

ohhhh that's gotta hurt!

Wow, so that's what that looks like compressed.

Actually I am usually very talkative. I just can usually compress it on here to coherent thoughts. Just ask my RL friends.

Make note: Red ball + Torian Rear End = A Very Funny & Bloated Torian.

I don't know if you have seen my new game idea yet. But what would you take for pics in a game with intent to conquer? I know War Party or Industrialists, and then some ship bonuses, but I am interested in other opinions.

The post is in the IS of the SH.

Maybe we should follow in the ideas of ED and go and find the best of our quotes. I am sure that I have said a few funny things before today.

It might be a little easier on you since you have a little more than 1/4 of the posts we do...

Yeah, but we are funnier that you guys are.

Not to mention less inebriated and less destructive.

#2110  by Citizen Soul Sphere - 4/13/2004 12:43:49 AM

To get 60K do you need a military fleet? In my 40K games I had no ships at all.

To get 60k on an alliance victory on a huge/rare or uncommon map make sure you set most of the AI to an evil setting or all of them; you score higher for more evil AI's. IE when I play a large military victory all good AI, I can only just hit the 60k mark with alot of tech research and social structures etc... When I set the AI to 3 pure good, and 4 pure evil I can hit the 60k mark by Jan 2190. Remember that if you complete the game before Jan 2190 you only get half points or something like that.

uhm for military i would say that you want...well it depends on your picks i would definetly invest in a population bonus for the economy and you'll need the extra populace for conquering if you don't use terrostars...make sure to use microsoliders too i hear it's the best for invading intact from the guardians

When an AI offers to trade techs with you, and it is not something you want, and you reject the offer, does that hurt your relation with them?

Yes to a small degree.

Morning Diplomats!

HIC!!! whhhaaaddddaaayyaa meeeeeeeeeeaaannnn?!! BOOM!!!

Laugh, sounds like me a couple weeks ago, except the Boom was my head hitting the ground.

#2123  by Citizen Kazzryl - 4/13/2004 6:30:45 AM

Question: For those of us that go for military victories via culture influence, do you make allies as you go along? Seems to be a double edge sword, if I ally with an AI my relations are better, but, if they go to war with someone, that someone, usually Torians, will come straight for my bases.

Last question for the day. When an AI offers to trade techs with you, and it is not something you want, and you reject the offer, does that hurt your relation with them?

Yes it will, if you accept tends to improve their likeness for you up a notch, special in Masso games.
