Actually looking at the recent polls for the next election is quite interesting. The Liberals have 39% support and that's usually enough for a majority but it's not that simple. Politics in Canada is much more complicated. Their 39% support is spread out through the entire country. That used to be considered a good thing, but I'm not sure in this case.
Atlantic Canada
The NDP have become strong here, I predict they will win at least half the seats. Unfortunately the Liberals will likely win the other half as Stephen Harper pretty much burnt all the bridges here with his comments inferring Atlantic Canadians were lazy.
Quebec
This is turning into a disaster area for the Liberals. The BQ now has a 20% lead on them here. That means the Liberals will likely be reduced to a handful of seats here.
Man/Sask/Alb
This is the Conservative stronghold and I fully expect to win the majority of the seats here.
B.C.
In the latest polls, the NDP have now passed the Liberals in this province. There's no reason to believe it's going to change. As time goes by the Liberals look worse and worse.
Ontario
That means, once again, that Ontario will decide the next Prime Minister. It's been embarrassingly Liberal since Mulroney left, but I think there is reason to believe that might change. There were quite a few seats who would have gone Conservative last time had the vote not been split. I'm optimistic that will still happen. The NDP is more popular than they've been in 20 years. I expect them to drag some of the support from the Liberals as they traditionally do. Also Ontario has a history of voting for a different party Federally than Provincially. They just elected the Liberal bozo in Ontario this year, and he's proving to be a disaster. I think it's going to mean a good percentage of people are going to do something different.
My prediction is a slim Liberal minority, and an opportunity for Stephen Harper to gain the trust of the rest of the country. Let's hope he doesn't blow it like the bafoons before him. I am a small c conservative, but even I don't really like Harper. Being from Atlantic Canada I found his comments quite insulting. Not only that, it was a huge political blunder. In one day he erased any soft support he had in Atlantic Canada.
Hey, we need a Political Machine for Canada!

Frankenmuth, Michigan. Nice tourist trap |

Perfect explanation. Go a little south to Birch Run and there is a bunch of outlet stores.

Our last provincial election was bad though. I hate McGuinty, but I disliked Eves, and to me the NDP is not an option |

Yes, I am in agreement with you there. Even the lesser of 2 evils is not much of a choice.
Basically I vote for the liar that will do the most good.

We spent time there as well. The wife can never pass up an outlet mall. We did get good deals on baby clothes.

Paguma, I tried the link to your utility but it seems that the link is broken.
Link
Can you verify that I have the right address or was the web site down?

I didn't get to go shopping when I was there. I was busy installing a telephone system in the Columbia store. Pretty neat place though.
I am guessing that the Flyers put up a fight then? I was hoping that would happen.

Halifax eh? Say hi to my family while you are there. My mom should arrive at the airport around 4:30 PM from Toronto.
In Canada, I have never been further west than Windsor, Ontario. Mind you I have been to San Fransisco and some place in Maine in the good ol' USA.

As leader of the CSF, I feel it's my duty to traverse the land recruiting members |

That is great! Although I would be just as happy if you gave some of the team a kick in the pants to wake them up!
Or at least threaten to take their beer away from them until they submit a game.
