Players are always free to read/post in any thread. In fact, some of our regular readers/posters aren't even from this Empire.

~~lurkers abound~~

I would hate to see you all dissolve. And who knows what the future holds. There is enough of ya to keep the fort down, especially with the prospect of new players (and hopefully some Canadians) coming around when AP is released.

Sorry, about taking the top of the page, I don't pay too much attention to the post numbers.

Anyway, we're still be here, and all Canadians, and anybody else that wants to join our cause can join us whenever they want to, we are an open Empire.

Sniff, I love you guys!!

No problemo, the only thing you really have to worry about is snack time.

I think that from now on, I might insist that people bring their favourite seasoning with them when visiting us. ie: ketchup, mustard, salt, steak sauce ... etc.

We would like to prepare our snacks with their favourite condiments.

I posted my second MASO victory lastnight. It was a bit easier because I managed to get 2 star systems and all the rest of the AI had only one. I could have saved about 1 hour of play by going for an alliance victory ... if I had that victory condition turned on.

I think that v1.20 which I play has a much lower score for alliance versus military victory. I will find out the next game I play though.

Hey Damoose, I am only 3 positions behind you ... well that is probably 8 games but at the rate you are submitting I should pass you by soon.

Get cracking, eh! (stuck the eh! in so the rest of the lurkers would have to have a Canadian translate)

Paguma, yesterday I made a wild suggestion that we should change the link on the CSF join up page to indicate this forum. The web sit then could just a link that we throw out every once in awhile.

Having said that perhaps we can also add a link to this forum on the CSF web page.

What do you think?

Torian Pot Pie

2 frozen pie shells
1 10 3/4 oz Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/2 cup milk
1 bag frozen mixed vegetables
2 Cups cooked chopped Torian (preferably youths)
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 small onion

Coarse ground black pepper, to taste
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Take pie shells out of freezer, separate, lay one pie shell flat, leaving the other in the pie pan, and thaw for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, defrost frozen veggies in microwave, chop and sautee onion. Mix defrosted veggies, sauteed onion, garlic, soup and milk in large mixing bowl. Pour into pie shell, top with flattened pie shell. Pinch edges together and poke holes in top crust. Bake for about 30-40 minutes or until crusts are done.

Remember to remove the brain and spinal cord before cooking your Torian or you'll end up with Mad Torian Decease.

Nothing worse then an Undead with Mad Torian decease.

I wanted to add my grandfathers favourite sausage recipe. He used to make this when the modern space ship of choice was a frigate.

Torian Garlic Sausage (hot)

2.0 Kg Torian rump steak
220 g of Torian belly fat
45 g salt
10 cloves of garlic
7 g Paprika, hot
6 - 10 Jalapeņo peppers
3 g pepper flakes, red
1 g Coriander, ground
250 ml Ice water

Ground meat and fat separately then mix by hand
Dissolve spices in ice water
chop peppers fine
chop garlic fin
Mix meat, spice water, peppers and garlic until a good consistency has been established.

Stuff mixture into well rinsed sausage casings (32-35 mm) and refrigerate.

Serve with a good Canadian beer for best results.

Actually it has happened to one of our more distinguished team member. He shall remain nameless but if your car hits the critter for which he is named you better hope that you kill it because it will be p*ssed at you when it gets up.
