Hey ED, that warmth you feel is not from the sun!

Wonder how grilled Guardian taste?

Do you grill them with or without the tin?

I suppose the next thing you'll be telling me, Da Moose doesn't have a tanning booth.

Yes, I do. Trust me.

a tanning booth

My parents actually own their own bed. They've had it for four years now, and I've never used it. I'll get my tan from the sun, thank you very much. And yes, I like my doses of radiation from the firey ball in the sky.

my concern would be what type of radiation he is using in his tanning both - microwave?

I played a game last night on normal and when super agressive right from the start on 4 of the AI. I started trading with 1 minor only. My main party pick was warlord (whatever it is called) that gave me +50 hitpoints. Never used that party before.

The game was great fun but easy. D@MN it! I found that I was rolling in money early, got all the tradegoods and wonders. Some AI researched Battleship but I took em out with frigates. Having +50 hitpoints is fantastic. My frigates can stay in a battle 2-3 times longer.

But the game was really easy due to everything I now know about this game.

Yes, Maso strats can be applied on other levels. And since they work with AI that have advantage, they can be killer if AI has no advantage.

And you have also drag opponent into debt if you exchange tech for cash (don't work on maso but may work on other difficulties)

I think that the only strategies that I applied was my research and build order to get my trade goods, oh yeah, I scouted them all out as fast as possible.

Then I started denying the AI, trade routes which of course caused war. I picked on the top 4 AI and that did not even slow me down. I dominated militarily, only lost 1 frigate due to stupidy on my part.

My poplulation is very low because I have been invading constantly. Technically I am miles ahead of all the remaining AI. There were two AI that researched Battleships and I took them out and got the battleship tech. I will not use it though. Most of my frigates are level 7 experience and tough as nails.

The fun part for me is the wars and no diplomacy or influence crap! During the game none of the Major AI ever had above neutral relations with me. Most were cool/wary/war

I will step it up a level next game and go for a larger map. This should give the AI more time before I get into a fight with them.

Damoose, I am surprised you haven't tried sampling the GROSS Pirates more. As you know they spend most of their time increasing the size of their "booty" . (insert sound of rim shot)

Checkout the Pirates thread as Hege sounds like he is in his cups singin' Pirate songs. (It's a good read)

Newfy, I enjoy the war stories as I am also one of the few warmongers in the 'verse.

Well, it looks like Paguma has experienced a recalc, since his last game was a month old

...and has no interest in playing right now...

Ha... Taken me years to figure out the controls too. It was so much simpler when you had lunch raw... Now all these little buttons and lights and... well you get the idea.

Oh... Don't worry... The wall of moose heads in the Capt's office aren't just trophies you know.

As usual Damoose, you're way ahead of me. That is probably much better, for me, than the alternative.

Well, I don't know. Raw LW or ED doesn't seem very appealing to me, perhaps a strategically place napkin could improve it some.

Just got my second 60K MASO/MEDIUM in a row! Proves that the first one wasn't a fluke I guess.

Decided to take a bit of a break and play the AP campaign. First 3 missions were easy!
