I assume there are Canadian turkeys since the U.S. turkeys don't come until next month.

Our turkey day is Oct 11. Funny that we do not share the same day as our US friends.

You see Newfy the growing season in Canada is much shorter then our Southern brothers. If we waited to celebrate the bountiful harvest with our nieghbours we would have to call it Thanksnowfall and the only fresh harvest we would be eating would either come from a greenhouse or a truck from the southern US.

Thank you for the enlightment. Why don't you all just apply for statehood in the US and solve these problems?

#4444  by Citizen damoose - 10/10/2004 1:15:09 PM

Nope. I'll be leaving for friends in an hour or so though. Man am I hungry! But Don't worry Weyr... I'm loking for turkey today.

Have a great Thanksgiving Day CSFers!

Doesn't really matter... Good food, good times were had by all! WooT!

So I think all the snacks will be relatively safe today. Man am I full.

Glad you enjoyed your Thanksgiving day turkey, damoose. But, alas, all things must end and work beckons yonder.

Thanks Wyer. At least I have today to recover. Tomorrow as you say begins soon enough.

I had two turkey dinners, one sunday, one monday and tonight we are going back to the inlaws to help them reduce the left overs. I am still full from last night! Sheesh!
