My brother was telling me last night about when he went to see the Exorcist on opening night. Apparently they did not let critics or anyone preview the movie ahead of opening night. There was no pre-release advertising. They showed up opening night on a whim and had no idea what the movie was about. He said everyone left theatre during the movie running. Almost everyone went to the lobby at least once. Some came back, some just left. They kept thinking it could not get any worse and then it would. When he spoke to the people he saw the movie with the next day, none of them had slept. They all had their lights on all night. That movie set the bench mark for scary movies and they did not have none of the computer effects they have today.

I thought tha movie was great. And yes, scary too. I thought Event Horizon (sci-fi horror) was great too.

Exorcist... saw that in university... My imagination is way too active... scared the carp outta me.

Never say Event Horizon though.

Don't know about the rating Damoose. Have you read my latest story in the Foundation Stories thread (#65, if memory serves). You didn't think I would let you go hungry. Hey, if you were really hungry I would be willing to turn the other cheek (that would be the "right" thing, to do).

Damoose, I was making a joke when I said you should be kissing rather than biting a$$ (for your veteran designation). In RL I never made it past middle management. This was due to my lack of talent and ability and my absence of kissing a$$. Anyway I thought you understood it was a joke but I am saying this in case others were mislead.
