I last game I posted was Chaotic Good ?

Every event I picked the good choice all the way through the game.

The game hates giving pure good alignment.

So if you pick one Evil PQ I find it next to impossible to end as pure good.

Tech...

It depends on the number of events that actually happen. These are of course random and some time you get more events and sometimes you get fewer event. The longer the game lasts the more likely you are to get enough events to end as pure good. At least that been my experience.

Don't forget that more effect has an event, the greater is the shift. That why evil choices that give a huge boost in PQ, production ... shift you more faster to evilness.

Where have I heard that the path of evil is the easiest?

By the way, you chould check the FotR thread: 3 days ago, there were discussion about modifying event to increase goodness

I hope they do help the path of goodness.

The last game I played lasted way too long, I was close to a Tech win. I should of seen enough events to make me pure good.

I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I wrote them down at home because I thought they were impressive.

At one point, I was taxing my people 87%, their happiness was 85%, and I had an income of 500 credits.

And we thought we were taxed too high in Canada!

#713  by Diplomat Technician - 3/1/2004 1:23:48 PM

What is 87% not normal in Canada ?

I just posted one.

At one point, I was taxing my people 87%, their happiness was 85%, and I had an income of 500 credits.

Does this mean all this time I thought taxes should be no more than 60% I was wrong ?

#723  by Veteran Grand_Admiral_Thrawn - 3/1/2004 8:16:33 PM

I usually have taxes up near 70-75% at some point, with 100% spending, and a large profit, and have gotten that high with morale still at 100%.
