But I also like the motto that's listed in the Metaverse for us. I'm guessing the Boss put it there, but I've always thought "decora ad gloria, immortalis" (which translates I think to: From Deeds of Glory, Imortality) was very dignified and remarkably accurate.

I read a few posts about the decline in the Metaverse,

Here are my thoughts.

There are less active players than a year ago.
Is this not to be expected ?

Sure AP will generate interest for a few months but interest over time will drop again.

The people who do play many people can not be bothered with the Metaverse.

There are two types of players people without a life "Me"
that submit 2 or 3 60000 point cheese loaded games a night.

It's a latin phrase written by someone with only marginal skill in Latin. It was meant to mean "Glory and Honour Forever" or something to that effect. It's close enough!

Totally expected. And there's nothing we can do about it. The important thing is for everybody who is enjoying the game and enjoying empiring to continue to do what we love, slaughtering Yor, Torians, Altarians, etc. etc. and talking smack about it.

There are a couple of active empires out there, and at least a couple of active players in every empire. Let's just have fun and see what happens!

He does not know how to get a good start, do a colony rush, bribe Aliens to keep them off your back long enough to do an Alpha Strike.

I am starting to think the only way you could solve all the problems is a reset, but only.

If the Metaverse accepted games using the latest GC or AP.

If the submittion method checked how the games were won.

The AI was given intelligence to combat Alpha Strikes. The solutions in the past to combat exploiting minors for trade and cultural attacks were weak.

It was pointed out to me lost a member.

I for one have never considered defecting another empire and to the GROSS yet!!

Am I wrong we are Canadians and we are not dead,
Undead maybe but not dead.

Recently the Gross gained a Top 20 player and jumped but they are not stronger now than a month ago.

I make a pledge I will not stop submitting like a crazy Tech until they are put in their place !!
