Duty is very important, we have our fun after the peace talks are finished and we send the bill

This almost sounds like it would be better for any player who's been around a while to change their player name and start over

If we end up determining that is the case yes. But why do that when you know at the end of 6 months you'll be in the same boat.

We never seem to need the diplomats.... We pirates think there are only two things to dipomacy. What a man can do, and what a man can't. For instance. We can do anything we want to anyone. Others can't. "The best diplomat is a fully charged phaser bank." Scotty.

That is not logical my dear pirate friend, like Master Spuck the leader of the Diplomatic movement will say, why to waste ammunitions when you can achieve the same results by smooth talking.

A silver toungue is useful is circumstatnces but I think its more fullfilling to 'exterminate with extreme prejudice' than talk your way out. Besided why talk your way out of a brawl when you can slap an explosive on their back, step back a few feet, and enjoy

Just be mindful of the splatter.. blood and gore is an awful fashion choice.

I think I will withdraw my offer of Cuban Cigars and Havana Club rum from the negotiation tables, it is hard to have a good diplomatic conversation when you are sitting on a pool of greenish liquid after dispatching a dozen of Torians.

So if you want to enjoy a good cigar you need to leave the weapons outside of the Diplomats headquarters (what you do with them after you leave the premises, well... that is up to you, here inside the headquarters no weapons are allowed, except good cigars and an excellent liquor. We do not need your "services" pirate scum. We of the SP
can handle anything ourselves. In exchange for payment
we demand the following....

That the name of your wonderful orginisation be changed from GROSS to FALL in order to sound less threatening to the wonderful aliens of the metaverse. FALL stands for friendly alien-loving losers.
That GROSS cease all production of weapons of mass destruction as they are clearly as they are clearly a rougue state.
I can't be more fair than that.

I don't think this 6 month thing is right, Capt'n. My player score seems to go back 9 months. And if my Meta score only goes back 6 months, I've got too many points.

I'm just taking the diplomat advice on relations with your neighbours, give them fair and balanced deals and you avoid unnecesery bloodshed. And aren't the aliens wonderful really, where would galciv be without them after all.

Kit, I've asked for clarification..

All I waa trying to do was to reconcile my score with that of the meta.. The only way I cam close was discounting anything before 7th July.. Maybe its not just a straight 5% degradation factor per month, perhaps it changes after say 5 months by 10% just trying to find out once and for all

Ahhhh do you seek Glory and honor? Do you hear the call of the warrior? Calling you to Glory. Calling you to Battle. Or do you cower like the weakling and try to talk your way out of a fight? Commander Kern of the imperial Klingon Fleet.

What if you just try a bigger degradation factor? Could you reconcile it then. I thought it was 10% a month but tapered to a bottom of 20% rather than zero. Ie .9, .8, .7..... .3, .2,.2,.2.......

Speaking of Friendly Alien Loving Losers, That would be a good name for you Toadie considering you had to wimp out and retire your third game....

Today's email of the day has an aussie flair to it.

Dear Greg Norman. I am appalled by your attitude toward Women. It is most deplorable.

Weapons of mass destruction? WE don't build weapons of mass destruction! "Building" implies work and effort and all that... that's what Alien Scum are for! Then we come in and *take* the weapons of mass destruction!

Alternatively:
We don't use weapons of mass destruction. You can't really call it *mass* destruction when the targets flee all in different directions... If they'd just stick together, now *that* would be some mass destruction!

Second alternative:
Why use weapons of mass destruction? That might blow up the rum!
