Oh, I thought the whole Slitherin/Rainbird connection was fully revealed back in the Evil Empire thread two months ago! Ancient history. I already looked into that one back then. An Evil double dip indeed, but CariElf already knows it is quite possible to get a jumbled joint account the way those two did. What is to be done about this sort of conflict is above my pay grade. That is for the powers-that-be to work out.

In other matters, I am still slowly catching up on all the empires and the Yor espionage droids are almost on strike from the strain. (The Euros are not helping me there with the code breaking thing. Good help is hard to find these days.) This has been a good reminder to yours truly that catching up on several thousand posts due to getting in a bad jam and dropping out of sight over two months is not worth it. It is better to stick around and try to catch the action when I can.

That was a strange game... I started out with my planet, quickly found 2 systems with 3 16, 17 etc.. planets each. Gained economic dominance w/ pure evil leaning with all wanting to be my friends. The I league appeard, and gained a whole lot, and quickly began taking out all the races- joined them as allies and sat back while they did the dirty work!

hMMM... aaaaaaaaaaaa!!! mY KEYBOARD IS STILL IN NEVER-NEVER MODE...

OK, this is better.

Hegetaga, sounds like sitting back and watching TV. I wonder if I can rig a situation like that in a gigantic map. Sit back for a spell... set up something to hit enter every once in a while... yeah... I like that idea...

Hard but not too hard just nick all the morale starbases, spend a fair bit on destabilisation and don't give them any morale trade goods, since the enemy rarely researches morale techs he soon falls apart Plus keep them in wars - less money to spend on morale improvements, etc.

...culture bombing. I guess that's the situation Taga found. I was thinkin' o' watchin' the I-League beat the other races down in a military slugfest. Hmmm... I reckon a camera recorder and a 3D engine would be sweet for that. Press record when the I-League starts kicking butt, activate a "keep playing" switch, then come back a few hours later with some popcorn! GalCiv the Movie! Oh hold on... does SF have a copyright on that?

I bet you pirates are enjoying the tasty new treats. What do the Korx and the Drath taste like anyways? More to the point are they soft and cuddly or big and scary.

Intriguing question, Goblin. Perhaps the most thought provoking one I’ve had all week. My first impression of the Drath is that they’re a bit fatty. This is fine when you’re not watching your figure and usually adds a lot of flavor. I would recommend sautéed Drath strips for one’s first plate of this species. Use either a smoked-hickory barbeque sauce or teriyaki sauce, sparingly at first. The flavor strikes me as... well I don’t want to influence your taste buds.

Now the Korx are a rather tough meat. I’ve resorted to harvesting their young because their flesh is tenderer. A soup, along the lines of wonton soup, is what I would recommend as a first serving of Korx. Again, light on the spices because you want an authentic introduction to the species. Bon appétit!

We'll let you know as soon as our test kitchens get through with them. We have Emil clone 20 and Martha Clone 562 (dang martha clones keep getting busted for insider trading) working fevorishly on the situation.

Wolf in sheeps clothing. It's all evil.
