Green Pea, Bacon and Hot Pockets, it is time to send our ships to full attack formation. Patern Beta, RUM, Vodka, Beer!!!

Deploy the Long rage missile and target FOTR defenses. ALso Cappuccino we have a special mission for you, it is time to search and destroy any Jedi ship in sight. Take with you Mustard, Mayonaisee and Green Pepper, they know their thing.

The time for the final battle has begun, the once mighty FOTR fortress shall fall under the boots of Captain Jack Sparrow and his temible band of pirates, corsaries, buccaneers and all kind of sea rats and other scums from the bottom of the galactic ocean.

Raise high our flag my beloved pirates, sharp your swords and have your cannons ready!!!!

Lets sing our best song and pout in our hearts the memories of our loved ones (specially those nice ladies of the night in Tortuga)
Charge my brave pirates charge those cannons, full display of colors and fire at your free will!!!!

Lets drink our last cup before the battle, what the heck, lets drink our last bottle before the battle.

Sorry Captain, my engine is still suffering suddenly hyperdrive jumps as result of the last mix of Jedi beer and Altarian whiskey. I think that I need to take a break until later tonight to check the proper mix for the fuel, I don't want to get wayyy pass the randevou point.

An old pirate song

The sea was calm and settled
Calm and settled was the sea
The sea was calm and settled
Calm and settled was the sea!!!

My ship was sailing fast
fast was sailing my ship.

My ship's hold was full with gold
my ship's hold was full with wine
my ship's hold was fill with rum
my ship's hold was full with gold.

My ship was sailing fast
fast was sailing my ship
with its cargo full
with gold, rum and wine!!!

The Spanish galleons are hiding
when they hear of my name
my ship is sailing freely
among the Armada of Spain.

Lets drink and be marry my men, the batlle just begun.

Do you have, under tools, under settings, check off "check for pre-release"?

Yes. That isn't the problem. No AP appears for download in that case. My problem is it won't download once I hit da button.

There is a thread in the GF a little while ago about this error, it happened to me as well. You need to set the view preference and something else on stardock central, and it will work. Just search back for the thread in the GF.

I've found 4 threads already where peeps mentioned it and none contained a fix.

Ok, heres what I think is. You have the same exact problem i had.
Go to tools, register producs, games, Gal Civ Ap, and change the data and put in your serial number (you should have gotten one for preordering). I think thats exactly what I did.

#1985  by Citizen Hegetaga - 4/14/2004 2:11:00 PM

Hegetaga had just about finished modifying his ship and will soon be back into the fight (but not this weekend, prom, and other stuff)

I've come to the conclusion that ithateme. I've emailed it into tech and they'll give me an answer tomorrow. Guess I'll take the old version out of archive and get a game in in the meantime.

Slowly making my way through the various Empire threads, soaking up the pointers sprinkled amongst them.

#1991  by Veteran Grand_Admiral_Thrawn - 4/14/2004 5:48:14 PM

There's pointers in here? I thought it was only rum, AARGHing and more rum.

#1992  by Citizen Brewskin - 4/14/2004 5:57:56 PM

Aye, yer right, it was all the other ones I found the pointers in.

But, the rum made the trip more than worthwhile

Rum is alright! And there don't seem to be any Pirates in sight to be protectin' it...

Aye, noticed that, did ye, GH, I knew ye had a fine discernin' eye!
