Well, we could copy-paste our entire evil empire infernal thread from the other forum to this thread. It would take a lot of coordination though.

Only--cool..

Hmm.. i though there was two types of bats.
The larger mammal type and the newly discover micro-bat type which may be reptiles.

I think the experts are still investigating this. Haven't looked into this for ages so I could be out of date again. (The older you get the easier it is to out of date)

As to the question at hand.
Tis up to HairtheTaco to consider his troops opinion and do what ever he wants to do. So I can't put a yep in the thread.

Aaaah but do you agree with the concept?

There are number of possums that glide in Australia.

Bats however do fly.

Not really.
I see it as a very heavy hand to a minor issue. I just ignore it like I do with any advertising. So basically it's a mute point as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah some people go over board but they get bored of it after a while.

I found it's the newer blood in an empire that do the spamming. They want to help and do their bit etc.
The main problem is the old hands that do not belong to a empire are getting hammered by the new recruits. Those that have been here a while know these guys and just answer the question.

Instead of making rules all the time just make an announcement that recruitment "only" posts are OT and will be deleted on the main forum. An answer/recruit post should be acceptable.

well back to work for me..

It is a man's own mind, not his enemy or foe, that lures him to evil ways.

The T-shirts bring income, yes...but the action figure line has definitely brought the most recruits.

Wombie started it with the "Iron Paw" action feature on his. Then, there's the "Mr. Furious" figure with Hyper Plunger and Cold Fusion Roto-Rooter accessories...I have a Hurley action figure on my desk at work that I use for inspiration. It talks, alternating between polite diplomatic greetings, historical facts and "Hurls Mode" smackdowns at the flip of a switch.

We could always use a bat figure to round out the collection, if'n you're interested...should sell well around Halloween.

copy-paste our entire Evil Empire infernal thread? no that would take way too long, i think it would be easier to just link to it.

wow, we are right above the Diplomats.

#44  by Citizen Fulgrymm - 2/4/2004 9:20:17 PM

Yeah, we're slowing losing members and slowly falling off the metaverse top 25 as other empire gain players. It just doesn't pay to be evil.

#45  by Citizen HairyTheTaco - 2/4/2004 11:41:09 PM

Not many new players anymore like there used to be.

#46  by Citizen HairyTheTaco - 2/4/2004 11:41:37 PM

Any suggestions to boost recruitment?

#47  by Citizen Fulgrymm - 2/5/2004 12:58:00 AM

We don't have the same appeal as other empires to make people defect it seems. So I don't know. I mean, even players who play evil games don't want to be in our empire. pagangods666 ditched us for that Special Forces that doesn't seem so special anymore. Now that they're recruiting anyone these days, instead of just elite players.

#48  by Citizen Jaws the Wayfarer - 2/5/2004 5:24:16 PM

Fulgrymm

SF has never just recruited elite players. Each application that we receive we talk about it and decide whether or not that person will fit in within SF.

If you look at the people in the SF you will see that some have very low scores but contribute in other ways, its not just about the scoring.
