Doesn't it reset every month

I think it just counts 30 days back from last submission (pretty sure).

That recalc hit us pretty bad to just around 150K (we have alot of retired members)

Just submitted a game but the empire score didn't update Would have halved the distance between us and MWC

I've had that happen too. Just hop on over to the empire page on the meta here and hit the refresh button. But to be fair, you should refresh MWC's score too just to make sure they haven't gotten out a game or two in protest

Arcite, it doesn't work that way. Well at least it didn't used to. Your monthly blocks are determined by your last submission date. Ie if it's jan 23, then all the way back to dec 23 is your last block, etc etc. Then if you submit one feb3, all the way back to jan3 is your first block. (I think it's 30 days per rather than 31) At least that's how it used to be. Several are reporting that their scores are now diverting from that formula.

I have fully resigned myself to play and submit when I want and not worry about it.

Nice to see things are still fine here at spaceballs central. My schwartz is bigger than yours...

Just a view from an Independant.

Some of you worry about recruiting from the main forum and talk about continually posting there to keep your thread near the top so that in effect it continually gets in the way of the newbie, like me; that goes there to find information about some aspect of the game. Instead I have to dig through countles empire advertisements. That is the kind of thing that can put an empire on someones annoyance list. Quickly now that GalCiv has opened a forum specifically for the Empires to post.

So with all due respect reconsider you actions in the other forum and be considerate of your fellow players. Jedi are supposed to be the examples of good in any universe they exist in... Or are we on the Dark Side here?
