The Republic has find room for both sids of the Force.

Please don't think I singled either EMpire out. There were comments about not being able to rampantly spam the other forum. With a firum dedicated to Empire building I see no need to continually try to out-post each other on the other forum is all.
As for answers I do as but I also like to exaust my searching before I ask a question that may have been asked earlier by someone else. As time passes many of you will learn I do not believe in repeats. Repeat questions just adds clutter to the valuable information in the database.
But back to the recruitment I just wanted to point out that since there is a forum for recruitment it could harm your chances for getting a new recruit.
Seriously before today I refused to go into the recruitment threads over in the other forum. Do you know what it is really like to log in for the very first time and see a thread with 3k messages???!!! And for it to stay on the first page growing every day? That is so daunting that I would never ever crack it open to start reading. Anyways I wish you guys and this forum much luck. I will be looking to find a good home or I may have to form up my own empire... Who knows?

That thread which you refer to is not in fact a recruitment thread, it is a communication thread like this one. I personally believe that our presence in the main forum MUST remain in order for the word to get out about us to new members. In the business world its similar to spending millions on one Superbowl commercial and not adverrtising your product for the rest of the year. This kind of "hoping" for product recognition from one ad simply cannot work in this environment. We CAN'T let our only image to new players die completely, as that would be disasterous for our Empire. I didn't even know there were other forums when I first joined, spent all my time on the main forum, and noticing a lack of a Star Wars themed empire, started my own, The Republic.
Now I'm not saying we must keep the VOLUME of post in our other threads up to the level they have been, but we do need to keep our name out there so that people will notice us, we could then link to this forum where the heavy recruiting could take place.
