Recent Appeals for the Generosity of the Metaverse are Slammed!

In a scathing report from the Jedi Temple Internal Affairs Department, Jedi Exar Kuun’s claim of an acute beer shortage on Coruscant was exposed as a blatant ploy to incorporate interstellar beer donations into Kuun’s personal beer distribution operation. Senator Jar Jar Binx was quoted on Monday as saying, “Beer iza no short supply. Ain’t no 12 million sober beings we iza havin’ on Coruscant.”

The Ancient Coruscant Beer Society has demanded a public and immediate apology from Kuun to Honorable G.R.O.S.S. Liaison KitWarrior. Reacting to Kuun’s personal attack, Warrior responded, “Log me in uh booze wid uh vault and he ekshpect me there shtill shober ish such uh girlieman dat Exar!”

Other reliable sources have revealed the true destination of cash donations made in response to Kuun’s plea. It appears a surge of anonymous payments to several illegal pornography publishing rings have been linked to Kuun’s personal account.

The appeal’s slogan - “Remember, two pounds will buy Exar a beer at lunchtime, two millions pounds will buy him a brewery, a barley farm, and beer for life. Please give generously.” - has been stricken from all public and private advertisements throughout the galaxy. A spokesman from the Republic’s Court of Criminal Justice has assured all citizens that Kuun will face harsh punishment should the Jedi Council choose to not deal with Kuun in an acceptable manner.
