Did you guys have fun?

Good morning, all.

I've been in contact with aomeone who just got the game and is working on getting it registered. He has expressed interest in joining the Republic, so I expect we will see him in here sometime within the next few days.

Or you could send him to The GROSS Empire for further training before joining your ranks.

Now i have to even out the trash the company did to the Hard- and Software, YEAH!!

Almost every OEM I can think of.

Thats the problem! And most usere take it that way, but its by all means not intellegent (5-10Gig max!)

Well i payed 1200 and need to invest another 600 for extra /alternative hardware

#1961  by Citizen littlewotts_ - 4/6/2004 2:59:01 PM

I can't understand why they don't split the drives up. I have 3 60GB drives in my machine, but all are split into about 30GB.

#1962  by Veteran Icho Tolot - 4/6/2004 3:06:43 PM

Well, in my case (the new one) its 160 split to 80/70/10!
My old box had three HDs with four drives, totaled 60

I used to rant the other way. Why give Windows 2000 Server a 2GB C drive! Server Magic (or Volume Manager or whatever they changed the name to) is your friend!

That's ridiculous.

Need to be careful Icho. XP does not support 160GB drive native. Go to the drive manufacturer's site and check out anything to do with XP and 160GB drives.

#1966  by Veteran Icho Tolot - 4/6/2004 3:51:37 PM

Why should there be a problem? As far as i know XP, at least the newer SPs, even support the new 400GB HDs

Indeed.

The good old days of building a PC. Did mine last summer and couldn't be happier. Good times.

Yup, you are correct but only if the original install CD of XP has SP1 integrated... then it's all good. My orginal install of xp did not. see the following MS article.

Have fun.

All my four XP discs are SP1, so no problem

The only problem is that it is Microsoft Windows and no good OS

I've seen this occasionally - a refresh normally clears it....

#1974  by Citizen KEmperor - 4/7/2004 7:22:50 AM
