Ok here it is part 2, Enjoy everybody
The Story of Procyon I
Chapter 2: Debriefing
There it was Starbase 138 also known as ?Starcity? in all its glory. It consisted of a large pencil-like structure at the center. Attached by bars protruding from the central column was a giant ring. Sitting just atop of the ring was a giant dome that began at the central structure and ended just on top of the large ring. That was where the civilians who were stationed there lived and worked. The large ring on which it rested and the lower levels of the base were off limits to civilian personnel. They were under the control of the Procyon military.
?There it is Weaver, Starbase 138. The closest thing to civilization around.?
?Its nothing compared to Procyon though eh M.B.M??
?That it isn?t Weaver. That it isn?t.?
We circled the base three times before we would call in the request to dock to 138 Command. Then we were approached by a fighter from the base. It was identical to ours except that it was modified for base defense.
?This is officer Opuno. Please state your name and reason for being here? said a rough voice over the comm.
I hesitated for a moment. The harsh interrogating voice took me by surprise. Then there was blaster fire. It went right past the nose of my ship. It rocked my ship a bit but caused no damage.
?Please state your name and reason for being here, or I will be forced to shoot you down,? barked Opuno showing just a little fear now.
?This is M.B.M and my wingman here is Weaver. We were stationed on the SS Defender of the Procyon fleet we intend to dock at the base.?
?If you are stationed on the Defender why aren?t you there now?? he asked suspiciously.
?We were attacked. The ship was completely destroyed.?
?You two were the only survivors??
?Yes.?
?Wait here. I need to convey your story to my superiors.?
His ship remained in firing position. I decided not to make any sudden moves.
Opuno might just take them as a threat. Weaver followed suit.
?This is Opuno again. Apparently you two are in the military, but my superiors want to hear your story personally. Please follow me and do not deviate from my course or you will be shot down. We now have clearance to dock.?
The three of us flew into the docking bay with no problem. The docking bay was huge. At least the military part of it was. The civilian ports were smaller, but the area seemed quite empty.
?They have cleared the civilians out of the bay. The commander doesn?t want anybody knowing that you two are here. The commander seems to have taken an interest in you? Said Opuno.
We walked through the bay and proceeded to an elevator that would take us to the center of the station. That was where the commander would be. The journey was uneventful but something was bothering me. All this secrecy?. Something had to be up. I also hadn?t met someone who was so high up on the military chain before, and if the commander wants to speak to us personally something must really be up. After a few minutes we arrived. The door was a plain drab gray but the commander lay inside.
?M.B.M. the commander wants to see you alone,? said Opuno not restraining his jealously. ?I will escort Weaver to the civilian area. You can see him later,?
I walked into the room not knowing what to expect. Nobody was there so I took a seat in front of the desk which lies in the center of the room. It was furnished with a lamp but it was the only thing to give life to the room. Then an unseen door opened and in stepped the commander. I was surprised to see that it was a woman but I quickly threw it off.
?Okay,? she said calmly. ?Tell me everything that happened.?
I proceeded to explain how we were out on patrol and how we were attacked so suddenly. I explained how we tried to defend and that the Defender?s weapons were down so we were only little help. She listened intently. Never interrupting until I was done.
?This has been happening a lot lately with ships patrolling our borders. The Kraidens must be up to something.? She said coldly. ?I am going to put you in command of a cruiser with an important cargo bound for home planet. ?Its name is the SS ArcAngel. I?ve been reviewing you record for some time and I believe you are the only competent pilot on board.?
?Thank you,? I said astonished at the compliment. ?Maybe when I get back we can??
Then there were loud crashed in the distance.
?What was that??
The commander spoke almost silently into her desk comm.
?We are under attack,? She said solemnly. ?You need to launch as soon as possible. If that cargo doesn?t reach Procyon we will all be doomed.?
?What about Weaver. I can?t leave him here.?
?Don?t worry about him we will get him out safely.?
With that I proceeded out the door and headed directly to the docking bay.

And not a mention of the author, either...though you might want to ask Spellforce if he can edit the "Qui-Gon" and "Dooku" references to more active player names.
Speaking of which, anybody heard from Qui-Gon lately? The Jedi's first masochist...ah, those were heady days for the Republic...Kit training KEmperor in the dark arts...Yoda with platform shoes...the Great War with GROSS that lasted about 25 minutes...
