Hey - I actually submitted a LARGE map today; hopefully going to average one a day. I discovered my PC (a lowly Celeron 1.7MHz) doesn't like gigantic maps...

HEHE. I have a P3 600 mhz. I can't go Gigantic on any version later than 1.11. Hence I'm still playing it. It's also the version with the hardest aliens. They lost something on later versions.

Hi Guys, I just don't have the enthusiasm for the game any more and the forums have gotten a lot quieter recently, so I think it's time to retire from Gal Civ..

Good luck to everybody and I'm sure I'll be keeping in touch with the Australian SFers as well as some others.. It's been a pleasure over the months being a part of this community...
