Captain JS, don't forget there is another Olympics just around the corner...

Unfortunately, our swimmers have dropped away this year- haven't heard anything about them for awhile. Still, we expect that in the medal count, Oz will sweep away the Brits and the Canadians as usual.

[Hurls Mode ON]

In October 1884 representatives from 25 countries convened in Washington at the International Meridian Conference to recommend a common prime meridian for geographical and nautical charts that would be acceptable to all parties concerned. When the meridian of the Royal Observatory at Greenwich was by nearly-common consent adopted as the prime meridian, it was remarked how convenient this choice was as it insured that the 180º meridian, where formally the date line should be located, mostly passed over water.

[Hurls Mode OFF]

Hmm, doesn't sound like an Aussie thing to me!
