Actually, Hurls might feel good that he does not know a whole lot about a movie most famous for its buggering.

On a different note, if you folks have not seen my thread http://www.galciv.com/forum.asp?BID=GF&id=133585 Link on the next RB succession game, we have the minimum necessary to start a game, but I would like to have another ringer on board. Any takers? So far we are three RB (one either just joined or about to join) and one from the Euros, who played on my team in the last SG. I would love to have another empire represented--it has been great learning the different playstyles of folks here, and the reports offer a resource to folks learning the game. Let me know--I will be opening the game thread over at CivFanatics shortly.

Thanks for your time,

Bam-Bam

Aintree is also something you might hear Evil Steve say, after a wild night out with the boys.

"I iz not sure what me car hit, but it sure ain't a tree."

Aintree is also a place near Liverpool, England where the famous Grand National Steeplchase horse race is run

That one I knew!! I was too busy to find the other one!

However, I do know why the town of Venice in New York state changed its name to Venice!

Now you're just trying to distract us...

Well, it won't work. *sigh*...there you are one day, at the top of the obscure references tree...but out there, there's some young punk, just waiting to take you down...

3) Terminate Quack before he causes (more) problems....

The Skowbo Purple Duck is an endangered species, and thus theoretically protected. Unfortunately, this particular duck's psychic powers and crafty intellect have drawn the ire of many. After surviving countless bad situations, Quack is a master of survival and gadgetry. While the native wetlands of Skowbo are the safest range for these majestic birds, convincing Quack to go back to a boring marsh bereft of the benefits (more like pubs) of civilization is probably out of the question. Very few Skowbo Purple Ducks venture so willingly out into the hustle and bustle of humanoid dominated space, so use caution when encountering any Skowbo Purple Ducks in pubs, and by no means provoke them. It might be Quack!

Well, O Smacked One, I am prepared to cut you a little slack presuming you're suffering from an acquired brain injury...but I did expect an academic to have some operating reserve...

Step out for a few days and what happens?

- Wombie has several dozen more offspring
- Hurls misses a reference
- Quack sounds like Brando. If he looks like him as well, that's one whopper of a purple duck
- The Spymaster presents a personality report

I must ensure that these absences are shorter in the future. In the meantime, I haven't seen Piers about lately - let's have a round on his tab.
