Hey, we're starting to pull away from The Centurions!

Long range sensors have picked up an inactive Realms Beyond at 11th place.

Inactive Realms Beyond indeed. Actually, we're rather busy, it's just not with GalCiv.

RB is pretty much collectively disappointed with the GalCiv AI. The core game is good, but we've kind of outgrown the AI and await a stronger replacement AI, which apparently is not in the cards until GC2 (we hope).

I don't think most RB players will be getting the expansion, although I never cancelled my preorder. I may put in a few appearances, depending on what AP actually delivers.

Heya Aldar. Um... DHABB time already? Oh, wait. It's ALWAYS DHABB time!

Happy Soaked Fruit Celebration Day

Only 14 days until Consumption Day

Long range sensors have picked up an inactive Realms Beyond at 11th place.

Don't wake them, they are sleeping.

Heya right back at you Sirian.

Hi Sirian!

Plans are already being discussed for GCII in Galactic forum. The more input now, the more likely GCII will be a superior game.

Don't wake them, they are sleeping

Not sleeping! Just distracted!

Oh and Alex woke up and submitted a game! He came up a "little" short though.

Everyone must watching the fruit soak...

12 days until consumption time...

Onward and upward!!

Hmm. Gerakken has been watching the Metaverse rankings and the fight continues between Bromoser and the three Jedi. May as well make something of it:

Bromoser was surrounded by three Jedi. They circled their prey, sizing up the dangerous drunken master. The fight had lasted for what seemed to be days. Every time the Jedi closed in for the kill, the Drunken One slipped away. All four where currently locked in a battle of wills. All quietly sizing the opposition up and waiting for the moment to strike. The air was tense and the silence so pervasive that the low hum of the three light sabers seemed like a deafening crescendo of sound now.

Meanwhile, things were going badly for Qwerk. He and his team had interupted several Romulan agents on an away mission and he had been running for his life, trading phaser fire with them as he ran. The red shirts had already been picked off as they ran, at least the ones that did not sacrifice themselves to protect their captain in the opening seconds of the exchange. "Scotty, beam me up, now!!!"

"Captain, we are fighting the Romulans! They uncloaked in front of us and we can't take much more of a beating. I can't beam you up without lowering the shields. Use the emergency transport device and hope there is another transporter nearby to lock in on. Scot out."

Qwerk fumbled at his collar, dodging several green energy bolts while running madly away from the agents. Finally, he found the switch to the transport device and activated it. The transport ray consumed his form in mid stride. A brief few seconds later, he started to re-materialize, feeling he was pressed against someone's back! Worse yet, there were two men with light sabers in front of him with very grim looks on their faces. Rolling away from the person at his back, Qwerk noticed another grim man with a light saber. The man that was at his back was half crouched, waving his arms in some sort of hypnotic pattern while slowly sidestepping away. Qwerk recognized the other three as Jedi, but did not know what to make of the unarmed one.

"Great. Why does this always happen to me?", Qwerk said out loud. The brave captain had beamed out of one fight and into another via some weird transporter error. Was he going to talk his way out, or fight his way out? With Qwerk, one never knows.

Meanwhile...

Bromoser was knocked down by a BOOM from a Guardian of Justice! Luckily he was only stunned. Staggering to his feet (he's got the staggering part down pat), he fights a delaying action against the three light-saber weilding maniacs and some guy in a ripped golden shirt and a weapon that looks like a TV remote.

I was actually playing with a box cutter yesterday (at least for me) that had a handle that made it look like a TOS phaser.

And I bet you pointed it at something and made that "whirring" sound!

All Dengin must die!!!

Meanwhile, I had my attention on Major Dallas and got Qwerk'd from 19 to 21.

Yes, an incredible Drengin can be quite a pain. Bribes. Lots of bribes.

Got to watch out for that Qwerk. He's got the luck of the Devil. At least Khan thinks so. How many others could survive three way lightsaber ping pong with a deflected phaser bolt? Then there is the the Aldarian's very own Bromoser, who seems to have the luck of the Irish (a very drunk Irishman, surely) for stumbling aside every time. And to think the Jedi were primarily aiming at him! See Starfleet thread for details.

Keep on coming Bromoser - I don't think the Major is going to let you get past him too easily though.

We're waiting in the top 10 for you - could use another drinking partner.

Right now I'm happy enough to stay in top 20. If you snooze, you lose!

I'll submit enough to stay in top 20 but right now I'm testing mods to keep my interest.

Just remember, every single person that sits above you sat in your spot at one time or another.

Your time is coming.
