I want to make sure the Centurions are part of an alliance if they (he?) wants to be since I approached him (them?) first. Hopefully he is still interested. If he is, let's go with Centurion/Aldarian and Anzac/RB and try to get a couple of other empires involved. The more the merrier.

If the Centurions are not interested, let's go with the Anzac/RB/Aldarian alliance.

Definately don't think trying to change the rules to make a 4-way alliance is a good idea - too many people looking for reasons to start flame-wars.

Aldarians - Let me know if you are not ok with this plan.

A good old reneck joke to cheer you up

Spell That

Emily Sue passed away and Bubba called 911. The 911 operator told Bubba that she would send someone out right away.

"Where do you live?" asked the operator.

Bubba replied, "At the end of Eucalyptus Drive."

The operator asked, "Can you spell that for me?"

There was a long pause and finally Bubba said, "How 'bout if I drag her over to Oak Street and you pick her up there?"

I can easily temporarily join an empire if I want to... of course the bribe would have to be handsome...

It's surprising (or not ) how many empires are trying to recruit me - it's up to about 8 now.

Looks like Alex has lots of options for participating in the Clone Wars.

If Alex hasn't decided by Friday morning (Eastern Standard Time - GMT-5:00) let's go with the RB/Anzac/Aldarian alliance.

Choose Your Own Adventure Booze Raid

~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~

As you chug down another brewski, you feel a strange vibration build... and then fade away. Perhaps is just the music that’s blasting through your freighter. A second vibration builds and fades. Curious about these recent sensations, you stagger out into the corridor to see what’s happening. Space Pirates! At least that’s what your blurred vision is telling you. Those bastards must be here on a booze raid. What will you do?

a) Fight to the death! No one steals your booze! Go to post #51 in the “Forget about those sissy empires!” thread.

b) Show them the way. After all, the more the merrier! Go to post #32 in the “Empires so tiny there not even ranked” thread.

c) Curl up into a ball and cry. Mommy said there’d be days like this. Go to post #23 in the “How do I find out about diplomatic relations” thread.

Go with the alliance - it's much easier for me to move around as a one-man empire than to get the others to do so if they want to play.

Alex: you dont have commitment phobia, by any chance?

you dont have commitment phobia

20th wedding anniversary in five weeks or so - and you ask if I have commitment phobia?

No - just being pragmatic; if the RBs want to play, then it is easier for me to (temporarily) join another empire if I wish. Besides, at the rate I'm currently cranking them out, nobody has offered me enough!

A proposal for the Aldarian Senate:

Should we join into an alliance with Realms Beyond and the Anzacs for the upcoming Clone Wars?

Aldar votes yes.

You mean I am going to have to celebrate Aldarian Presentation Day without you? OK. I'll just be sure to drop the gift off and hope one of the other Aldarians is there to receive it and share a lot of drinks.

Nasty method, that. You would make a splendidly cruel and effective dictator if you bent your will to it.

Uh... how's this alliance thing working out in my absence? We getting anywhere with it? What are the rules again? No, no, don't tell me. I didn't mean to ask. Just peeking in to let you know I'm still breathing.
