Yeah, you'll spill your drink

Either that or you'll spill yourself trying to save your drink!

Hey Aldarian Senators!

Should we add these holidays?
April 25 - ANZAC Day

June 1: Soaked Fruit Celebration Day - Everybody takes their favorite fruit and soaks it in their favorite liquor (or non-alcoholic drink for those who frown on alcohol). The Fruit will be consumed on Soaked Fruit Consumption Day.

June 15: Soaked Fruit Consumption Day - The day everyone consumes their soaked fruit and suffers from extreme DHABB (or for those non-alcoholic party-goers, watch everybody stumble around and laugh hysterically).

Aldarian Harvest Day, August 21st: Celebrates bountiful yields of barley, wheat, corn, rice, and other crops that can be made into booze. Of course, the new harvest is honored by drinking up what is left of the old booze stocks and behaving badly.

ANZAC Day needs a description

Well latest information suggests that April 25th (ANZAC Day) will be ANZAC's last day as an empire.

Vote so far:
3 ayes, 2 not present

Actually, ANZAC Day is a National Day of Remembrance consecrated in Australia and New Zealand in memory of those brave men who lost their lives 25th April 1915 World War I. (Anzac Cove). I looked it up!

Thanx for the info!

Unfortunately, it appears that April 25th will also be ANZAC Empire's last day too.

Luckily the Aldarians may be small but we are persistent.

Drunken persistence does have benefits! Us space pirates should know. Keep on chugging, Aldarians(whatever booze you can find, that is)!

Who do you think brews the beer, ferments the wine and distills the rum?

We never run out!

Although sometimes some of our beverages mysteriously disappear enroute to their destinations. I wonder who intercepts it?

behold ANZAC is self destructing. More defections have dropped them down several hundred thousand more MPTS. Looks like 12th place is now secure!

I'm surprised about the ANZACs, they have been around forever.

I guess we will have to wait to find out one way or another! I'm kind of hoping they don't dissolve. The more empires the merrier.

Senator Magnum Force awakes from his slumber and votes aye!

To what, you ask? To everything!

I broke down and played a medium maso using 1.2. I didn't want to have too big a gap between submitted games while I wait for AP to get fixed. Meanwhile I have 4 medium Maso APs stored for later submission.
I'll probably try to submit a game once every 2 or 3 days using 1.2 in the interim.

Senator Magnum Force awakes from his slumber and votes aye!

Good to hear from you! Pretty slow aound here. With baseball season in full swing, I'll be around less too. I'll be going to watch the Brew Crew this weekend. Maybe they'll even actually win one. Not that I'm counting on it!

#188  by Veteran Grand_Admiral_Thrawn - 4/6/2004 1:50:26 AM

You have a better chance of seeing a win than I do. I'm a Tribe fan. Promises to be another bad season.

#189  by Citizen Moser_Alchemist - 4/6/2004 1:57:03 AM

Well, the Brew Crew beat St. Louis today. So they are 1 and 0 so far. Last year, they lost their first 6 games and never got close to 0.500. Hope springs eternal!

#190  by Veteran Grand_Admiral_Thrawn - 4/6/2004 2:23:40 AM

And history hold true. Tribe blow first game after giving up a four run lead late in the game, and then giving up a three-run homer in the 11th to blow what could have been a win. I guess they won't be missing Wickman after all...

Well don't worry too much ABT. They can always whoop up on the Tigers sometime.

Nice to see the Red Sox not building up my hopes too much.

I will add our new holidays to the website this evening.

Yep, at least there is one team worse than mine.

Oops. Too much time crushing aliens last night and never got around to updating the holiday list.

Been playing on Crippling rather than Maso the last couple of weeks. Allows for a great deal more variation. Finished up a game last night where I used the "Krikket Strategy". Otherwise known as 'they all have to go.'

Every time I met someone, I declared war on them...
