Droid, glad you dropped in! Sorry to hear you are having submission problems. If you've tried twice and it didn't go, you're probably going to need to email the game to Cari ( Email ) and let her take a look at it. I had a submission problem a month or so ago and it turned out to be the game assigning the same ID to the game as a game I'd already submitted. Good luck! Oh, and as always, you're invited to sign up over at Link for our private forums.
Good morning, everyone! Got plenty of sleep last night and feel great! Had a lot of challenge on that Obscene game last night...the Torians were a real pain in my rear end! Of course, the Yor were the first to go ( Link )
Great job gaming, guys! We're really pulling ahead in the Clone Wars! All are feeling the power of the RDG-04!
The only flaw in their plans was the lack of knowledge of the imminent arrival of Theoden, Greldon, and Lothmorg. |

Hehehe...wish I had that evil smiley here...
MC, that free corvette thing really sucks when it happens at the end of the game. There's really nothing you can do but watch 100 corvettes go boom. Of course, it gives you a chance to get to the restroom or run to the fridge, so it's not always that bad!
I really, really need to get a Metaverse Review out today...so if I get quiet in a while, you'll know what I'm doing!

Theoden stood confidently in the bridge of his Excalibur class warship. His ship was accompanied by Greldon and Lothmorg with each commanding their own Avatar class ship. The fleet also had six combat transports and an escort of three Battle Hammer class vessels to handle any chaff that may be thrown at them. This was a powerful fleet, made even more so by the enhanced weapons technologies discovered in recent months. Each ship in the fleet had been retrofitted with the most current weapons designs.
Galactic Guardian scientists had made great strides in recent years with the greatly increased funding achieved by selling outdated technologies to many of the smaller civilizations they met. It was almost ironic that a great deal of the cash had in fact come from the Yor themselves. Theoden laughed to himself as he recalled seeing the budget statements at the last command and staff meeting. Sales to both the Yor and Drengin had funded most of the research advancements and had actually paid for the weapons refits on all the ships in the fleet. He had just received a communique from central command that scientists on Xasica had completed construction of an antmatter missile battery which was ready to support the planned attack on Westerfeld.
First Officer Naqmir entered the bridge and called to Theoden, "Sire, they are here. Senator Greldon and Admiral Lothmorg are in the briefing room with their staff, sire."
Theoden turned and smiled at Naqmir. "Thank you Naqmir. Oh, and Naqmir, please report to the invasion briefing room for ground troops. I want you leading the forces when we arrive at Westerfeld."
Naqmir smiled and replied, "Aye, aye sir. I have longed for this opportunity to meet the Yor in battle and crush them as you have done before. For Honor and Justice!" Naqmir saluted, turned and left the bridge at a brisk pace.
Theoden headed for the briefing room to coordinate the attack plans with Senator Greldon and Admiral Lothmorg. "Not long now, not long at all, " he thought "we will finally be rid of the Yor!" Theoden knew the Drengin may intervene but they were a separate issue.

Theoden was stopped on his way to the briefing by his electronics officer. "Sir, we have picked up signs of a fleet approaching Westerfeld. Their course is oddly enough the exact opposite of ours. Were the planet not between us we would essentially, sir, run right into one another! It appears to be nine ships. We know some are dreadnought class due to the mass. We also can report that they are not ours. I recommend caution, sir, even though neither the Yor nor the Drengin scanning systems are on a par with ours; to them we remain invisible."
Theoden checked the readings and responded with an old phrase picked up along his varied travels, "Indeed. Thank you Commander for reporting this immediately. Caution it will be, for we wish to crush the Yor completely." Theoden continued to his meeting glancing to the reports on and off, digesting the information contained therein and formulating a new plan even as he entered the briefing room.
Senator Greldon, Lothmorg and their staff rose as Theoden entered the briefing chambers. "Gentleman, well met!" Theoden hailed as he entered shaking hands with all as he walked to the head of the table. After brief pleasantries the three veteran warriors sat and got to the business at hand.
"So, gentleman, to the matter at hand," began Theoden. "I have just received word that a fleet is nearing Westerfeld. It consists of nine ships, the largest are suspected dreadnoughts. We can safely claim they are not ours. They have not the technology to detect us yet and we shall do what we can to maintain that as we near the planet. Let us now discuss how best to destroy the fleet and take Westerfeld from the hands of these abominations." The men began the discussion in earnest. It was finally decided that the fleet would continue on its course toward Westerfeld. They were expected to be at Westerfeld hours before the incoming fleet. The plan was to stay behind the planet as much as possible and surprise the inbound ships. Xasica had been contacted and would launch antimatter missiles at the largest of the enemy ships once the fleet neared Westerfeld.
Greldon and Lothmorg bade farwell to Theoden and headed back to their respective ships to brief their officers and crew. Theoden thundered "For Honor and Justice," as the men boarded their ships. He then wheeled about to return to the bridge and prepare for the battle a mere few hours away.

I was smelling something most delectable upon waking up, and found that my roommate had put some ribs in the slow cooker before he went to work.

The question is, will they be there when your roommate returns?
I had pork chops for lunch!

|
Do any of you listen to cd's or mp3's instad of game music when playing galciv? I was rocking out to the Stones last night while I punished the Yor for existing.

He's pretty darn smart there...he used the slow cooker so that the ribs won't be done until he gets home from work. Chump.
