Evil claim on a new page.

the Yor were gone inside 5 years

Always a good thing!

damned goody-goody Altarians pulped me on first 'crippling' game!

They are usually right behind the Yor on my extermination list.

Theoden, The new icon looks great especially in the bigger size on the metaverse empires page.

Good morning, folks!

I had a little fun outside of GalCiv last night, so no submission from me. The beer was sure tasty, though!

Thanks for all the comments on the logo. It was really only meant to be a temporary change until I could find something better, but maybe we should have a vote and see which one we like better. I'll put one up in the private forum in a minute.

Congrats to Lothmorg, Greldon, Terl, and Monte Carlo for your submissions! Also good to hear Magnumaniac is slaughtering Yor!

I've got a few things pressing here at work today, but I should still be around most of the time.

Only here is slaughter a good thing...

Good morning everyone!

Well, the good news is I did not get any hail damage yesterday. The bad news is I got hit by a rock and cracked my windshield.

I've gone through 2 windshields in 2 years. This is not a good record. Maybe I can get it patched...

Anyway, congrats to everyone who were able to submit last night. We need to keep our lead over TriForces!

I'll be on the road again today, and should be leaving soon (within the hour).

Good morning ABT, Lothmorg, and Theoden. I can't believe how busy I've gotten these last few days. I spent 2 hours in the rain last night under the hood of a car. Yuk. With any luck I'll get a game submitted soon here.

#2856  by Veteran Grand_Admiral_Thrawn - 3/5/2004 9:56:24 AM

Glad to see that you only took a little damage Lothmorg. I don't know if it will be fixed, it depends on the size of the hole. I get those storms here today, the are warning of hail, flooding, tornadoes, and we already have a 30 mph wind. Fun to drive to school in.

Morning Littlewotts!

Come again?

#2858  by Citizen littlewotts_ - 3/5/2004 9:58:00 AM

I don't kow what it is about storms but I love them. I like to go chase them. We don't get many tornadoes, so I haven't had the chance to chase one yet. I thought about going to the central US to try it.

Wow, sounds like bad luck. I had the same thing happen with tires a few months back...seemed like every week I was picking up a nail.

Not me! I'd rather stay in my nice warm house and chase down the Yor

Lothmorg: Bummer about the windshield. If you are lucky and it is not too big they may be able to fix it. Do you have all glass coverage on your auto insurance?

#2862  by Veteran Grand_Admiral_Thrawn - 3/5/2004 10:02:33 AM

Ah. Thanks for the clarification. Yeah, I love storms too. I remember we had a tornado outbreak about 3 years ago, and I loved it, I just kept watching the news, and trying to find things before they said them. The central US is the best chance to find them in the summer. Actually, meterology is what I am going to study, and that sounds like something you would enjoy too littlewotts.

Glad you've been able to pop in when you can! It seems a few of us have been swampled lately.

That sucks...was it your car or somebody else's?

#2864  by Citizen Lothmorg the Black - 3/5/2004 10:06:37 AM

Hmm. Not sure, actually. I know I have a $500 deductable, but I don't know if that applies to the glass. It cost $275 to replace it last time.

I'll have to look into that.

Storm chasing: I'd love to do that, but the wife freaks when it thunders. So, I do what Terl does and I stay indoors killing pesky Yor.

Yeah, thats fun too.

Guardians,

In case you haven't voted, I have put up a poll in the private forum regarding the logo. There's three choices to pick from, so head on over and take a look!

#2867  by Citizen littlewotts_ - 3/5/2004 10:13:04 AM

Someone else's. It was missing on one cylinder so I replaced the plugs. After that didn't work, I had the ignition module checked, and the coil-packs. Then I found a crack in the casing of the coil packs. Appearantly, the crack was getting moisture in it and the spark for one cylinder was passing through that to ground. Swapped that out and it runs great.

Good morning everybody!

It appears to have been a bad night for the Yor!
