Hi Greldon. Thank you heaps for making a guide for me.
Do you guys have Drengin.net accounts. I will have to get a subscription tonight as I want to get AP now the beta is out for playing.
| |
|
Also as I will be playing maso soon, Im thinking of changing my score name Monte Carlo, so I can get the full affect of the higher scores.
Will that mean I have to re-join our empire under the new name. Will my scores still remain in the defiant class for the clone wars if I change to a new scoring name. Anything else I should think about? before I do it.

I just purchased the AP Expansion. I didn't get a Drengin.net account as Im only interested in GalCiv for the moment.
| |
|
How long did it take you magnum to play that one |
|
Too long. Back to huge maps for me I think, until I get the strategy completely ironed out.
Nice to see you back MC.
Welcome to Athilla - come join the party.

Thanks Magnum.
I just downloaded AP 1.49 but it's midnight here so Im going to give it a bash in the morning to see what it is like.
Greldon that Guide Im really looking foward to, whether it is 1.49 or 1.20. Version 1.20 will still apply to 1.49 90% of the time Im guessing. From what I have read it's meant to be alittle easier as there is 2 more major Ai's to contribute to killing each other.
Well Im off to bed, tomorrow morning I got to mow the lawn again, it takes me 1 hr 15 mins to mow all this lawn arghhhhhhh.... and then I want to try out the new AP. Goodnight all from this side of the world, see you tomorrow.

Nice to have you back MC! Back to playing, got to secure my spot in the top 50! |
|
Thanks Naqmir it's good to be back.
| |
|
got to secure my spot in the top 50! |
|
Go for it Naqmir Next stop.. the first page
| |
|
|
I'll try and put together an early game (1.2) guide |
|
Would be most useful Greldon please - I'd like to see why it takes me so long to get through a game

Cheers.

I think I figured out why my score was so high on that Tnny/Maso win. In my haste to get started playing AP, I didn't realized my starting picks had been altered. I did choose the +20 diplomacy, +20 Morale politcal party, but I never used the 10 points for bonuses. Maybe that doesn't affect the score though. What do you think?

Hello Guardians!!
Just got back from the St. Patty's Day parade...lots of fun!! Good beer and good looking women! I love parades!
Stopped in to see how everything was going...I see we're back to sixth. But it looks like everybody is banging out games! Congrats to Naqmir for making it into the Top 50!! Also, great job Magnum on that 60k bomb!
Well, I'm going to go play a bit...I played around with that dang campaign last night. Man, that first scenario is a real pain. I need to kill some Yor to make myself feel better!
See everyone later!

Just squeezed us back into 5th by about 4k - thanks to a 57k huge/alliance victory on AP
Took me into 150th place aswell
I like the way they've sorted the Culture bombing out in AP - that was totally unbelievable before. I had to ally with the Drath in the end, as they were just too big for me to take out.

|
Woohoo!!!
Got me a red shield aswell

What was that? I think I heard a 'plink'.
Good work Magnumaniac!!
