Okay...first I've got to say that my first game under the new AP Beta really opened my eyes. The only condition you can play Maso now is all AIs at Incredible...which isn't too much of a problem, since nobody sells techs anymore at all. So, economically, you've really, really, really, really got to depend on trade and a little strategy. However, the Yor still were slaughtered by several combat transports full of my best troops, the Drengin fell...but only after I had to Mass Driver their last system to a PQ10, and since the stupid UP banned Terror Stars (that seems to now be really permanent, unlike before), I had to resort to culture flipping. And yes, it can be done...it just takes a huge number of SBs to do it now. 
But...I got around 43,000 points for a Small map! So, that dull thud you heard was me finally getting this freaking game submitted. Just in time, too...it looks like I was just about to drop out of the Top 25!  It appears the Metaverse is getting a bit more active, or at least it is this weekend!
Anyway, congrats to Loth for your 100 game shiny! And congrats to the Guardians for solidifying our 5th place standing!!

Hello MC! I am blowing apart some Yor, just as you mentioned. I tried a Large/Maso this time vs a Tiny. Wanted to see if I could beat it, and if I could score a few more points.

Oh my o' my! I think this one qualifies as a
BOOM!!!
I just dropped into the next block, and, well, I just got a nice 104K score boost! Went from 10th to 8th!
To borrow a phrase ... I'm lovin' it.
I might even go to bed now.
