Well I have to make a small pause on my reporting news to take the post from the Guardians!!!
| |
|
but I am relishing in the thought of their flesh burning and hearing their horrible screams of pain as I lay waste to their civilization |
|
Phew! Don't get on the wrong side of Theoden folks. One little minor transgression and that's his answer No wonder the Yor have an instant oil leak every time his name is mentioned
| |
|
The Galactic Guardians are now in fourth place in the Metaverse!!!
Oh, did I mention we're now only 72,843 points out of third?
| |

72843 points separates theGuardians from taking over the EURO alliance, GO GUARDIANS!!!!!!!

Yes, it seems the AIs have a little fear of me now...I keep getting those messages saying "You're such a great guy, here's 100BC for 3 months! Please don't kill us!"

Well my reporter carrier ended very soon, Theoden the Master of the News has done it again!!!! I hope to read the New Metaverse report about this week's achievement.

My wife says I should be on Jeopardy...but I know better. They would have categories like opera and such and I would get blown away. |
|
Tonight's categories are: Quantum Physics, Famous Baskets, Engineering 101, Ancient Egyptian Literature, and Ming Dynasty Architecture
~Terl looks at Alex with a blank look~
Ummm...I'll take Famous Baskets for 100, please?

He might even make the Yor look slightly less pathetic
OK, decided to have a go at this story-writing business. Apologies if it's complete crud, and don't be afraid to tell me ......
Annoyed at the sound of his personal communicator buzzing, General N-1 finally climbed out of his oil bath to answer it.
An excited voice at the other end rushed through a sentence that loosely resembled “General, the Guardian attack fleet is approaching our final system – this one.”
“Calm down.” ordered N-1. “What do we have in orbit?”
“Nothing but a few old rusty transports, sir.”
“Then it seems I must beg for our survival,” said N-1 with a resigned air. “Who commands the Guardian fleet?”
“Guardian Knight Terl” reported the communications officer whilst simultaneously springing an oil leak from the lower abdomen.
“Terl,” mused the General, “the Yor-slayer. I would rather burn in the lowest pit of Hell than negotiate with that demon. Still, I must consider the benefit of the Collective as a whole. Initiate communications!”
The comms screen flickered briefly, until the image of the Yor’s nemesis filled the viewer.
“Aah, so wonderful to see you in good health General” laughed Terl, “I was getting a little worried that one of my compatriots had deprived me of the pleasure of seeing you die.”
“I know your reasons for being here, Terl” growled N-1. “We have nothing to offer you so I, General N-1 of the Yor Collective, throw our entire race at your feet and beg for mercy. Too many Yor and Humans have died in this war already. Let us end it now!”
After a few moments thought, Terl responded. “General, the Human casualties in this war pain me greatly, and I have no wish to throw away any more lives in conquering your pathetic little race. In recompense, why don’t you load up those old transports you have with a few billion of your unwanted citizens – for us to use as we see fit, and I give you my word that no human will ever set foot on the Yor homeworld.”
N-1 couldn’t believe what he was hearing, as he had been sure his race would cease to exist by the end of the day. He issued the order immediately “Every member of the Collective whose number ends in a 2, 5, or 8 to the transports! You now belong to the Galactic Guardians.” Turning to the view screen, now with a smile, he responded. “Guardian Knight Terl, the Yor Collective thanks you for your gift. We hope that this may lead to better relations in the future.” As the screen dimmed, N-1 thought to himself “That was a strange looking smile on Terl’s face.”
Guardian Knight Terl turned to his first officer, “As soon as those transports arrive I want the contents re-programmed and sent straight back. I will keep my word, no human will ever set foot on this world, so load up the mass drivers.” As he turned away from the Yor homeworld for the last time Terl wondered “and the Yor were supposed to be an incredibly intelligent race?”
