Does anyone know how the percentage of galactic map's ownership is calculated? The curent stat are:

Ah, Peace, you asked the question. No one seems to really know (or care) how the galactic map works. We know that it is some combination of score and number of empire members plus something else entirely, but what combination? No one knows.

Good morning, Guardians!!!

Third place!!!

Man, what a team effort! It looks like everybody has been chipping in towards the goal! Success can only be achieved with a uncommon effort toward a common goal. You have all given an uncommon effort and I thank you!

The Guardians have been very fortunate to have such an active and personable bunch of characters join. The points are great and rising to third has been a real honor, but just having an empire that has this much fun is worth it all!

Naqmir dropped in two Masos yesterday to keep him in the Top 50! Excellent job!

littlewotts is sooooo close to breaking into the Top 100! I'd say another game will do it!

Mortis494 cranked out 3 Huge/Masos yesterday and is shadowing littlewotts. Looks like I might be giving out 2 Top 100 medals!

MC...what can I say? Fantastic job on that 60k bomb! Aren't you the same guy that cranked out 13 straight Cakewalk games to start?

I most certainly agree with this also. Words are difficult to find sometimes but 'amazed' is a good place to start. Not only do we have fun here in the forums but we also enjoy playing the game (and the sound thrashing of the Yor) which is evident in our almost meteoric rise to number three. Wow! I know I am proud and quite pleased to be a part of this Empire also.

Commonwealth

I thought Commonwealth is a English term.

What is the difference between a normal State and one that calls itself a Commonwealth ?

I see that you a a top 25 medal and a former top 3 medal.

I think that somehow Lothmorg created a new player, so all the 60000 point games rack up the points faster and did not lose the orginal medal

Well, I'm actually a little unsure of this, myself. Virginia was one of the original thirteen British colonies in America (along with Massachussetts...another Commonwealth).

According to Dictionary.com, there really isn't a difference between a state and a Commonwealth.

There are only three of the 50 U.S. states that use the term "Commonwealth", Virginia, Massachussetts, and Pennsylvania. There is no difference between these three Commonwealth and the other 47 states, other than the name.

Actually, since these three are tax-happy, maybe it refers to taking all the wealth from the common people. I think I'd rather just be a "state".

Taxes suck.
