Fellow Guardians Important message.
I just submitted a maso game before and I got a total of no more then 1000 points if that, for my efforts. This really really pi##ed me off. It is of course because of all those cakewalk games etc, really lowering my score. I decide to submitt another game under a new registered alias and it wiped my old scores and I now have a new 60k start. I didn't know that it would do this, I thought it would keep my old score and player and I would have to re apply to the Guardians with my new alias.
Anyway that didn't happen, I still have my old name etc, but just new scores. I dont know if this will have an affect on my defiant scores for the clonewars, it probably will, so I apologise if this has effected our empire in anyway.
The current scoring system as it stands really penalizes people who like to submitt games on a daily basis, and people who like to climb up through the ranks with many deifant class score under there belt.
It's like a double edge sword really that stabs your efforts in the back.
Ok enough ranting.
I dont enjoy playing a 3 hr maso for 60k and getting no more then max 1000 points. Maybe this new start will help fix that, if I can submitt 1 maso a day it should help keep my scores at least better then 500-1000 points.

I was wondering about that myself. All I did was change my alias in the submitt screen to Monte Carlo0 and registered on the meterverse as the same new alias. It wiped my score clean, but all my medals are still intact and my Galciv account name Monte Carlo.
I really thought I would have to sign up again under the new alias to the empire and it would keep my old player and scores. Oh well, so if anyone else is wondering what happens with regards to this, now you know.

Welcome to my world... It's not worth the extra time to max em out from 53k for me. Lets see. I can turn in 53k alliance victories in about 30-45 minutes per, Not totally burn out on the game, and net about 5-7k meta points. or.... I can turn in 60k military wins (taking an hour longer to do so send those constructors, build those terror stars... LET THE TEDIUM BEGIN!!!!!) when it nets me exactly about 5,200-7,200 meta point Or approximately 200 more points than the first. Although sometimes, you just have to committ genocide for the pure fun of it.

That's one of my biggest complaints about the ai.
1. you probably shouldn't be able to assemble a terror star right next to an enemy planet. (3 space away minimum)
2. The ai should immediately attack a terror star If you're within that 3 space away range.
The inflated scores on ap vs the original is some concern as well.

This might be to entice people to get AP because it's easier to get bigger scores, makes people want to buy it, just to keep up in the meterverse.
But AP is worth it though, I would like to start the campaign's when they have finished with the beta's. Although I could start now, I will wait.
Also some cool features like scenario and map editors look cool.
