My relations with the Arceans are on the rise. Im at cool relations with the Korx, but they still traded me Battleship tech for Stellar Cartography. The Korx now have the strongest econ. and there doing no trading yet as there in war with most of the other AI's. So there trade ships will eventually get to me when they stop getting blown up. I meet Alexians yeaaahhh which is good for me because Im running behind tech wise at the moment so I trade a couple of low techs for all there techs the suckers. And everyone is now picking on them, so I loaded up 2 combat transports ready to execute a ground assault. So far so good.

Its nice to see a different cutscene than the tired old Alliance victory show.
The poor Yor, they were set up to dominate the entire game. They didn't even pause to ask why the weak old Terrans wanted to trade all their tech for all the Yors attack ships and two transports. Of course rather than just taking the scum sucking Yors system for my own I chose to use Mass Driver attack with both transports.......the result was two class 18 planets reduced to class 12 planets, which I promptly gave to the Arceans.

Wow. I just got bored and went for a stroll through the other empires forums. They are so incredibly sad that I could cry. Half of their entries seem to just be a guy trying to grab a certain numbered post. I don't think I'll ever walk down those diserted alleys when I'm bored again.

Let me see: you are doing this for pure kindness in order to be sure that Guardians will always have foes to fight. Do you fear a nervous breakdown if they have no longer Yors to fight?

Hmmm... How do you guys do it? This medium map took me 6 hrs over 2 nights, and I didn't even push for higher scoring. Just wanted to get it over with - and alpha strike the Yor that cowardly started on the opposite corner of the map from me.

Been there! Done that  Only a couple of weeks ago myself Genghis.
Knowing that Greldon and Lothmorg are cranking the games out seemed very disheartening at the time  , but you'll soon get to know the game better, you'll have the tech tree and research costs for each tech memorised, and you'll be planning your next moves in your sleep
My first 60K game on a gigantic map took me about 12 hours of playing time. Last night, I got a 56K huge in just over 2 hours.
Just remember, as MC said, have fun and the rest will follow
