Magnu, is it harder to keep the AI from decraring war on you until your ready, when playing evil. What strategy changes did you have to make to play that way.

It seems to make no difference to the neutral and evil AIs - the Korx and Drengin are still just the galactic bullies.

The Altarians are a right pain in the butt with their favourite mantra "It's our mission to rid the galaxy of evil, and you fit that description". The fishies are their usual inept, bouncy ball selves, and only get anti if they've managed to ally with the goody-goodies.

The Drath and the Arceans just sit on the fence as always, and the Yor are, well, dead really.

It becomes a right old slog if the Drengin or Korx "see the light" and do an immediate morality swap.

In the end though, you just do the same as normal and keep the AIs fighting eachother.

I've played a lot of games remaining neutral all the way through - and believe me, it's very easy because no-none gives a hoot about you and they all just get on with killing eachother without any outside influence.

~Monte Carlo Runs through the door of the Galactic Grog and yells out "Wooooohooooooo where #1." He then looks around and realizes know one is here...He thinks to himself are yes, there all sleeping...and yells out to know one in particualr "IT'S TIME FOR SOME FREE BEER, KNOW ONE WILL KNOW, THERES KNOW ONE HERE!" He immediatly walks to the beer tap and surronds it with his mouth (Barney style in the Simpsons) and drinks and drinks and drinks some more untill...He falls alseep at the tap totally wasted.~

littlewotts: Yep, Mitch88 is one of the ones we are looking for. He posts in the main forum every once and a while, which is what gave us the idea to do it ourselves, plus Theoden's try at it. There are a few others too.
