Wow, all of a sudden a flurry of activity! Way to grab #6500, littlewotts! I'm going to slip out now--my birthday party is about to start. Almost picked up the Baldur's Gate SOA and TOB expansions for about $20. Didn't. Too many Yor left..  Pesky Yor.
Besides, I need to grab that nice shiny away from Greldon and give him the silver.

Greetings all! Well, I received GalCiv for my birthday! Got it installed, registered, and updated. Went over to the Senate Halls (I think) and registered under my game name. The only problem is, I have chosen a different game name than what I originally registered under (switching from DATarbell to Major Dallas). Can anyone tell me how to effect that change here in the forums?
It's late now, and my birthday is a reminder that I'm getting old, so I think I'll start my first real game tonight but don't expect to get too far.
I'm saving my 'gift' to the Guardians for when everything is set up right (forum login, Guardian membership, et cetera). Which reminds me, is there someting more that I need to do to apply for Galactic Guardian membership?
I'll check for responses tomorrow. Meanwhile, I'm off to explore the galaxy!

Ah, so that would be you DAT. Wondering who that was. Just pick out an avatar from the library, or upload one from your machine to symbolize yourself. Take a look at mine, a nuclear explosion with a dove in front of it. Very me. I think Greldon would qualify for that one more than me though. Have Theoden modify your status to be a Guardian, and he will set you up and get you access to the Guardians private com threads. Private message him under the Message Center button at the top of the page and type his name in to let him know. Best of luck on your first game!

Help!
The Yor have their revenge on me! I bought the Yor's fleet lock, stock, and starbase for the low low price of 360bc for 2000 months, then promptly removed them on the same turn. However, even though the Yor are no more, the tribute remains... In fact, I am loosing about 450bc/mo! Tried saving and reloading, still there. Anyone else run across this? BTW, v 1.49J

Not seen anything like that GH, and I use this method all the time on 1.49J. Only difference is I always do xbc over 99 months (going above 99 makes no difference), but that shouldn't affect it.
Are you sure they haven't got any more planets hiding? Did you get the "The Yor have finally succumbed to the might of..." cut scene? If not, then they still exist somewhere.
