Breaking News!!!!!Yortown.-XY3-1.3462 (Capital of the Yor Empire). In an unprecedent event, the Yor Empire has nominated a carbon base individual to be the Master Diplomat for the Yor Empire. The Pirate better knows as The Renegade has been nominated by the Yor Empire to represent them in the Galactic Tribunal where the Guardian Empire is been indicted under the charges of "Yoricide", "Crimes against the Yor" among many more. More news to come in the next edition of "Good Morning Yoriland".

Unfortunately, this new position of yours makes you, in the minds of the Guardians a Yor, and therefore subject to the special dispensation we offer to the Yor and any allied with them, at no charge BTW.

Maybe you should sail on back to, and remain in, Tortuga.

(that is my professional opinion too, but I have been selected to act in behalf of the Yor, so I have to stick to the facts now).

Time to serve the warrants to the Guardians, but first I have to find some Yors to volunteer for the task.

Please, Send us Yor.

Be sure to tell these volunteers that any warrants they intend to serve will be vaporized along with the courier. The elimination of the Yor can't be called genocide, but instead should be refered to as Pesticide! Oh, and should any of the Guardians named in your warrants decide to appear at these hearings, it will be to Greldonize the infected system.

Have a nice day!

For Honor and Justice!

355 Yor vessels are going your way to serve the warrants.

355 vessels have been Greldonized. Their route has been backtracked and terror stars have vaporized the point of origin.

Does this also include special prosecutors working for the Yor?

And a fine job you did! My compliments, Vice Admiral Littlewotts!

More news to come in the next edition of "Good Morning Yoriland".

Due to unforseen circumstances (i.e. complete and utter Greldonization of the Yor homeworld), "Good Morning Yoriland" has now been removed from circulation.

The remnants of it's office may be discovered in a cloud of space dust that now occupies the former location of the Yor homeworld. However, the chances of finding anything large enough to prove that the Yor ever existed are about as good as finding a snowball in Hell!

"Gone with the Guardians"

Too funny....

Any Yor parts have been turned over to the Guardians for Greldonization

Hey??? I'm sure Tech could use some of those.

And to all who participated... D&mn fine story line.

I fear the special prosecutor anticipated our strike and so was not present at the hearings. The Renegade continues to elude all authorities.

Someone should start a collection of the greatest guardian quotes for future reference.

So ED, does this mean you accept the position, and what should it be called?

I specialize in potato cannons, so I guess so.

Due to lack of eveidences the Tribunal has been cancelled. The Yor Empire has complained to the Galactic authorities, but to no avail.

The Renegade has resumed his travel campaign towards the FOTR space and send his condolences to all the Yors that so bravely died in the call of duty.

Adios Amigos!!!!

A daunting task, no doubt. Call it job security. Remember, the pages of this thread contain the entire history of the Galactic Guardians, except for posts in the other empire threads. But that’s too much to ask.

You could start a thread in the Guardian Halls, which could be edited as you go. Theoden could copy it from there to the Guardian website from time to time. You could research the old posts at your leisure, but add new quotes as they happen, more or less. All of this would be entirely at your discretion, of course.

GNN Special News Bulletin

We interrupt your GalCiv game(s) to bring you late-breaking news regarding the recent indictment of top executives involved in the pyramid scheme known as "Yor-r-Us," and the ongoing manhunt for the criminal known only as The Renegade. Sources close to the investigations, speaking on anonymity, have now confirmed that The Renegade is none other than Martha Stewart. Substantiating evidence for this seemingly incredible claim have been pointed out in two books heavily marketed by the short-lived Yor-R-Us chain: "101 Simple Projects with Spare Yor Parts" and "Cooking Yor Best. " Hear all the details in our full reports at 6 and 11.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled battle(s), already in progress.

You mean there are places on earth safe from the Martha Stewart empire.

Martha Stewart:

Worlds most famous homemaker, magazines, books, TV shows, products. Convicted inside stock trader. Consider yourself lucky Magnum for not knowing
