That one qualifies. 100K+ I like dropping to a new block. Take THAT, G! At this pace, I might catch up to you next month. Maybe.I don't understand, how the hell do you get 100k. I've had several block changes and never got anything. My submissions never change, except to become less and less. Why do you get 100k every month?

maybe it's cause he has perfect 60K submissions for every game he's submitted...then again i would think that would cause his scores to degenerate faster...i remember lothmorg said something monthes ago about not being able to have the same scores as jaws with the same number of games cause of the points system or something to that degree.

Loth only has scores going back to Feb! His "3rd block" just opened up. Greldons history goes back to last year - his blocks are mostly filled already.

Also, I think I remember Lothmorg's scores "in the middle" of his month adding about half as much to his totals as Greldon's did for him. I suspect that it has to do with the scores that move on Loth's "new block" day and that over all, it averages a little better.

WTG Guardians! Owners of the Metaverse!

Such confidence! Ah, the vitality of youthful empires. Time for this old Meta historian to gently remind you that you are only renting the top spot. Superpowers come and they go. Sometimes it takes a while, but they all go in the end. At least all the others have. And don't take your eyes of the rear view mirror for very long. There be pirates on the loose and we'll be at your back door soon enough. We may not be able to catch you and take the #1 spot while the G-men are in their prime, but we're older, meaner, and very determined. That is one fact Meta history has already noted.

Forgive me in my haste, Gerakken, for I am as young in metaverse terms as the Empire I serve. Yet, I have little to compare to the fully engaged front line of the Galactic Guardians! Just this evenings exchanges, well, I quoted but a sample...

Sorry, didn't mean to sound like I was being a crybaby (I was of course, just didn't mean to sound like it) because Loth certainly deserves to be in first place with all the games he's played. He's played more games and scored more raw points than anyone in the Metaverse. Congrats Lothmorg. I just get so damn agrivated over this screwed up scoring system that it makes me crazy. If we went by raw scores Loth would have the gold and I never would have had a shot at it until he got hit by a bus or something! I'm glad I got the gold but I know I'm just keeping it warm for Lothmorg!

Well, I can't concentrate on a game right now. I'll just crusie the forum.

I agree. I thought about resetting my player so that the 60k games I finally figured out would count for more.

Because I don't already have my blocks filled, each drop to the next gives me big points.

I'm glad I got the gold but I know I'm just keeping it warm for Lothmorg!

I think you will get to hold onto it for a bit longer. It might take a while to catch up to you.

[Had a little bit of fun with AP 1.49 on a Tiny at Tough. Quite a tasty little morsel, actually. Also my first Alliance victory, which was a nice experiment.]

...popping out. G'night, all. I'll try and catch up with y'all tomorrow night. RL promises to be hectic tomorrow!

OK Greldon. Lothmorg gets the big monthly boost because he reset his score. On the first day he submitted 4*60K booms (MV value 120K). As soon as he hits a new block, all 4 of those drop into it, giving that *new* block a score (for this one) of 120K * 90% = 108K, which is added to his already formiddable total. So I'm afraid next month he'll get ~102K on the first submission of the 13th.

You and I don't get this, because our new blocks are started with our original, low scoring games - worth a few K each. It all averages out in the end though, it's just Loth is submitting more 60k games per month (about 110 average), so is getting closer and closer to you. If he keeps that rate up, he'll have very close to 2 million this time next month, so that's what you'll have to aim for to keep the gold

Unaware that his meal aboard the Yorian ships was tainted, the pirate, formerly the alleged special prosecutor for the Yor in their frivolous suit against the Guardians, the pirate's mind was still spinninf from the bad mushrooms in the Yorian meal. Thinking he was on Raven's Claw the pirate began defacing everything he could find. Unfortunately the pirate was actually aboard Captain Jack's flagship. Ah, such is the life of a pirate who would serve the Yor.
