Just send out a load of colony ships with 1 mill pop, and colonise any 12,13, or 14 PQs until you get enough colonisation events.

Who knows, but maybe the metaverse's first cultural victory 60K,  or how about a painful 60K (they're all painful for the Yor though).
I'm wondering just how far down the difficuly / galaxy size / victory method curve you can go and still get 60K by optimising the other scoring contributional factors.
I do not like playing gigantic galaxies, so huge will be the upper limit for me on that front, but I think with a gigantic you could probably get 60K on a painful, or on a maso/cultural (maybe even a tech victory).

Don't think you need to worry about being left behind. (Actually I've been thinking that I need to keep posting so you don't end up passing me!)

You probably get more points than Greldon though. Go get him! But you will probably have to take down Lothmorg to get the top spot. Him and his BOOMs ripping the space/time of the Meta...

Not by much - generally around 3850 mpts per 60K submission. I've actually pretty well kept pace with the big G on submissions for this month, but Loth is a different matter entirely.
