It would appear from comments made in the (pitifully small) Tortuga thread, that pirates do indeed view any top of the page post as a "steal". They divorce themselves from the rest of the empires by labelling anyone who regards xx00 or x000 as more significant steals, as "lame".
Each to their own, as they say, but should there be a poll across all empires as to which group are the "lamers", then I think the residents of Tortuga may get a bit of a wake-up call.

| Question. Once a player gets to the 60,000 point per game level. Would he be better off to dump his prevous scores and just go for 60,000? Loth having all 60,000 games an advantage over Greldon because Greldon kept his early history? |

Technecally, you are better off keeping all of your points over the long term. In the short term (say you wanted to be top 10 in 2-3 months), having just 60K games is better. 2 cases in point - Greldon and Lothmorg. Greldon kept his game, Loth dumped his. They are 1 and 2 in the Meta. Each strategy worked for them. Remember, Loth is submitting at about twice the rate of Greldon... 
Correction: Loth is submitting about 8 games to Greldon's 5 - which with the exception of MC and Mag is still more than double most of the rest of us...

Actually been working on it for a while. I started my first dozen games or so trying to stay neutral. Then, I slipped into chaotic evil about the same time as ABT changed back from "A Darker Tomorrow" to "A Better Tomorrow". Well, there was a bit about me being his twin, so I became his evil twin...
But he should be working on his blue smiley to match...
