Help. purchased expansion got this file stardockcentral130.exe. ran it. went to stardock. don't see no download. what am i suppose to do.

Register the expansion first via the option in Stardock Central. Also make sure you have the little box (lower left) "show prerelease versions" checked.

Thanks I had the prerelease versions checked by did not know how to registar. Instructions on email suck. But I knew you guys could help. It down loaded as I type. Thanks

Thanks I had the prerelease versions checked by did not know how to registar. Instructions on email suck. But I knew you guys could help. It down loaded as I type.

I agree about the instructions.... I find the forums fill in the gaps well. I asked my share of similar questions when I started.

I think you will enjoy the expansion as much as the rest of us do. Well worth the money.

1st attempt at expansion disaster. Stuck corner should have control N but did not. Could not find a planet over 14 and still I tried. The minors were useless, had nothing to trade. My relations went down hill with everyone. Even though I had trade route with the most powerful they decided I would be good to try there new weaponary on. Abort try again later maybe.

Could not find a planet over 14 and still I tried.

One planet is tough! I've won a game with two planets on a couple of occasions at maso, but never with one.

I think Sirian may have done it in a RB beyond maso variant game.

Like Magnum says, when you’re on top expect to be a target. Don’t let the rhetoric get to you. At the worst, GC was just trying to get a rise out of us. At the best, he was just having fun. Don’t let it bother you. The scoreboard says all that needs saying. I mean, all they can do is talk about eliminating the Guardians. Let them have their fantasies. When it’s all said and done, The Galactic Guardians Rule The Metaverse!

That guy on the internet that likes stories.

Regarding the Yor Collective Empire: The Guardians have no animosity towards any empire no matter how unfortunate their name may be. After all, they are fellow GalCivers and should be treated as such. Our rivalry with them shouldn’t be any different than our rivalry with the other empires. This opinion should not be construed as a reason to stray from our quest to rid the metaverse of the Yor abomination, but rather to treat our fellow gamers the way we expect to be treated, with respect.

Maybe "Blast the Guardians" or "Greldonize the Guardians" would be more in the spirit of the game and less personal. I understand the intent. I just don't want to see it taken to the point where it stops being friendly banter and starts being threatening.

Howdy gang!

Noticed there seems to be a word missing from this page, so let me rectify that....BOOM!

That game was almost too easy, my starting spot was sick. Starting picks were +80 Diplo/+40 Morale/+10 Econ, and I think I like them a lot! Had tech lead by 2183, and Warm or better relations with everyone by then, as well. Total time involved was about 3 hours, spread over 3 days, unfortunately I'm not getting a lot of free time here lately, so that's probably top speed for me.

Another thing to consider is the age differential that is almost definitely reflected on these boards. While the accumulation of age is not always synonymous with the accumulation of maturity (after all, look at me

), many of our members are at the virtual beginning of their maturity. I think it's up to us to set the example, respond from our accumulated maturity, and do everything we can to make everyone's experience on these boards fun, enlightening, and respectful.
