well i seem to work better with someone on my tail, like abt 
Very boring night, G/F out of town, don't wanna go to any parties tonight, don't wanna see any movies, still taking a break from gal civ after submitting every day for a week like a few weeks ago, the diplomatic channel and sh are very very quiet, i've played my emulators into the ground just trying to find a reason not to go to bed early on a friday night

Anyway... is AP signifigantly harder and in your opinions should I upgrade? Only been playing for 3 weeks.

well that depends, i've heard people who have played maso 1.2 (that's what i do right now no ap) and suicidal 1.4 (or whatever it's called now) and some say it's more difficult cause the ai is a bit smarter and negotiations are more difficult while some say it's easier cause you have 7 alien races to deal with instead of 1.2's 5 which means it's easier to keep them at war and get more trade, as for scoring there's no comparison ap scores off the charts.

Not harder, just different. If you can adjust to the changes, perhaps easier.
Boost to score alone is worth the upgrade, IMHO.

Well Guardians... I managed Gigantic Meso today. 50k Mayhaps I better upgrade to AP... Well I am proud to say I was able to do Gigantic meso... but I will admit MM... YOU DA MAN!

Hi everyone.
Just to let everyone know I will be joining up with the ANZAC's empire for ANZAC day only and will be coming straight back after it is over.
Being an Australian ANZAC day means alot to us over here. I'm not only doing it to see off a great empire here on GalCiv, but to also show I'm thinking about the aussie diggers that fought and lost there lives at Gillipoli.

Alarac, what an awesome score! Way to go! 
I'll confess, I upgraded to AP primarily for the higher scores. However, I am finding the additional races to be a real delight. The number of opponents absolutely effects your strategy--particularly on smaller maps! (I'm not too adept of setting them at war with each other yet, but I'll take the other Guardians word for it that it's easier to do with 7 opps, than it was with 5. One hint that the veterans have pointed out in their strategy guides--over in the Senate Halls--is that it's even easier when the AIs have 'mixed' morality. In other words, it's easier to get a Pure Evil to war with a Very Good.)
And you're right, Magnum is da man! (And so is Greldon, and Lothmorg, and Theoden, and Ghengis Hank, and Exalted_Druid, and Naqmir, and bonscott, and littlewotts, and Terl, and... Well, just read the roll of Galactic Guardians! You're in good company, brother Guardian!)
