Happiness is having Sol start with PQ 18 Earth and a PQ 16 and PQ 20 planet...

...and then getting the +49% PQ event when landing on the 16

Whoa Major D - that's 3 in one day. What do you think you're doing man? Carry on like that and Greldon will get all worried about his shiny medal, and double his submission rate.

We've got to lull him into a false sense of security, then sneak up and pinch the gold shiny when he's not looking.

I see EE fell for the old chocolate fudge bar trap I set to find out who was raiding the fridge at night.

you know what's even happier? starting with sol as a purple star, earth PQ 26 then getting the precursor event that extended the quality of the other planets in the system by 10 or whatever
that one rocks!

Attila, whilst the big 2 can certainly be described as maniacal in their submission rate, I feel that there is only one original named MANIAC here.

and then getting the +49% PQ event when landing on the 16

Nice GH. You could play that game out without ever owning another system quite easily.

A couple of games ago, I found a PQ26 and got a +42%PQ event - ended up as a 43 when soil and hab were built. Should have seen that baby pump the TGs out.

I seemed to be struggeling with going to the DARK Side! Looking at my scores, my allias says Always Chaotic, but never PURE, even though throughout the game i am choosing evil side!

Just before you win the game, build a load of colony ships with 1 mill pop and go and colonise every 12,13, & 14 you can find until you get enough events to take your morality rating down to 10 or less - that's what it needs to be for "Pure Evil".

#9685  by Citizen _Attila_ - 4/28/2004 7:19:44 PM

morality rating down to 10 or less

isn't it easier to rise taxes very high like 80% and above to put morality down?

Taxes affect morale, not morality. To see your morality, go to the domestic screen (F4), select the "stats" tab at the bottom, then select "society" and it will be displayed on the left.

You know, if you keep your morale low, your morality should drop, and vice versa. Evil dictators, evil morality. Think of the people, and you are a saint. Makes sense, right?

I would go along with taxing your subjects 80% lowering your morality!
