Oops, I wasn't paying attention to post numbers, I didn't mean to take the top of the page, sorry about that.

Morning Kaz...

...and good night again. I'm off to get a couple more hours before I have to get up for work.

Oh, and help yourself to the top of page. It was just a 50 anyway

I notice the my empire scoring list is different from the main board scoring. On the empire board I passed Droid5150 and on the main board still chasing. How come?

Have you tried this link? http://diplomats.galciv.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=90 Link

Magman, great to see you! Wanted to mention that I have had greater success using your strategy with only 3 systems, than with 4! I remember you mentioned that you have been successful with as little as 3 or even 2, but have you notices a 'faster, stronger' start with 3 vs. 4, as well?

Not sure about the topic but here is one thing that could explain such comportement:
The key in Galciv is generally 100% spending rate. Having lots of starting colonies lead to greater expenses with less income. So at a point, you need to lower the spending rate. Which affect all planets.
So colonizing a low PQ (15-16) planet few colonists could lead to a drop in Earth production.

You know, if you keep your morale low, your morality should drop, and vice versa. Evil dictators, evil morality. Think of the people, and you are a saint. Makes sense, right?

Not sure: with a truly evil civ, morale should always be high. After, any unhappy citizen who says that he is unhappy, would certainly be looked as deviant, dangerous for the governement and reeducated. After all, aren't the evil improvements boosting morale?

Good morning Guardians!

Alarac, whether you preordered or got the subscription to Drengin, the only place you can get Altarian Prophecy is from Stardock Central. If you haven't already downloaded it, it can be found at this http://www.galciv.com/download.asp Link . It will show up as a different option in the Games section. Here's a http://guardians.galciv.org/images/sdcscreenshot.GIF Link to a screenshot that might help.

I think I'd better go see who needs updating on the website.

The website has been updated to reflect MD's new Top 100 shiny! Congratulations, MD!

It's also great to see several Guardians who are just a game or two away from moving onto a new page! Outstanding job everyone!

I'd also like to say congratulations to littlewotts and Genghis Hank for earning a Strategic Medal! Both of you have shown a desire to help others by sharing your knowledge of the game. GH offered some excellent tips on Crippling strategy in the SH and littlewotts has been lurking in the Strategy Forums. (You guys didn't think I was watching, did ya? )

Ok, you guys, this is my last effort to be granted the Honorary Member of the Month, otherwise I will not return back the following items

Terl's pen
Theoden slippers (the ones of the pink panther)
Greldon's stick
Lothmorg's horn
and other items that I cannot mention here!!!!

#9761  by Veteran Disciple777 - 4/29/2004 8:59:20 AM

So or you make me honorary member of the month, or I will give all these items to the Yor as war prizes. I have spoken!!!!

#9762  by Citizen Magnumaniac - 4/29/2004 9:01:47 AM

Congrats to LW, GH & MD - all thoroughly deserved.

#9763  by Veteran Theoden of Rohan - 4/29/2004 9:04:09 AM

Sorry Mario, you have to be sponsored by a Guardian and voted upon. Besides, I think we're only going to stick with 4 for right now.

You can be the Honorary Spammer...how's that sound?

#9764  by Veteran Theoden of Rohan - 4/29/2004 9:05:17 AM

Has anybody heard from Terl? It's not like him to be away for several days like this.

Think I'll drop him an email.

#9765  by Veteran Disciple777 - 4/29/2004 9:06:16 AM

Great, that sounds great, here you can have all your items back!!!!

Thanks.

I am the first Honorary Spammer of the Metaverse!!!!

#9766  by Citizen Magnumaniac - 4/29/2004 9:10:20 AM

Has anybody heard from Terl?

Was just wondering that myself after seeing Renegade's post. Very unlike him.

Let us know if you hear anything Theoden.

P.S. I'm not sure offering Renegade the position of "Honourary Spammer" was such a good idea - he may now think he has a mandate for spamming this thread.

I think we need to qualify the position as being awarded on a monthly basis, with Renegade being the incumbent for the month of April only.

As oficial spammer of the Metvaerse and honorary Spammer of the Guardian Empire this is the first and only bylaw of my new office:

-You shall not spam the Empire that nominateth you as its official Honorary Spammer.

So don't worry Magnumaniac, this tread is safe!!!

#9768  by Veteran Theoden of Rohan - 4/29/2004 9:26:50 AM

Let us know if you hear anything Theoden.

I'm hoping he'll drop in sometime today.

#9769  by Veteran Theoden of Rohan - 4/29/2004 9:27:27 AM

He posted few days ago, but was something short and gone

That's good news Lord SPAM. It was getting a bit crowded in here anyway with the undead taking up whole pages on a whim.

#9772  by Veteran Disciple777 - 4/29/2004 9:58:54 AM

I shall persecute the Undean and make them pay for inundating this tread with fake spam!!!
