What a great community to belong to! It's amazing to think that there are so many of you out there who chose to allow me the honor of posting the 10,000th post! I am truly honored.
I'd like to thank each and every Guardian for your participation in the empire and for taking us to unbelievable heights in the Metaverse. I have been very lucky to have such talented and dedicated gamers join the Guardians and all of you have excelled beyond everyone's expectations. Thank you for making the Guardians a historic and memorable empire!
Thank you to all of our friends and visitors. Your humor, questions, and yes...spam, have made this thread the "place to be" in the Metaverse. This thread is more than a place for the Guardians to mingle and chat. It's a meeting ground for the entire community. If you need to contact someone, this is probably a good place to start! Thank you all for being such good friends and neighbors. 
Could anyone ever imagine this empire would have become so wildly successful? Our empire now has over 8 million points with just 32 members. We have a thread with over 10,000 posts. All of this started with a simple idea of mine to leave the Fellowship of the Ring and try to breathe a little life into the community. Wow, did it ever succeed! Galactic Civilizations is just a game, nothing more and nothing less. It's the people who play it, all of you, who make this crazy place the success it is. Stardock created a game but all of you created a legacy. I hope the Metaverse and this community can continue to have fun, enjoy friendly competition, and create strong friendships.
